    She will be loved

“Ahh thanks Julia… but I promised a friend we would go out tonight… so I  have to go and… you know, get ready… but it was nice meeting you” Bette, once again was doing her best to be polite for she really didn’t want to spoil things with the one person that meant the world to her.

“Well I’m sorry you have to go… and it was very nice to finally meet you too… we should all hang out one of these days…” Julia was not gonna drop it and Tina’s face was unreadable for Bette at that moment.

“Yeah… certainly… well Tina… I guess I’ll see you tomorrow. Have a good night girls” Bette once again made eye contact with the blonde and shyly smiled, for she desperately needed her friend to know how sorry she was for interrupting her.

“Good night Bette” Julia waved from behind Tina who was now standing right in  front of Bette, ready to close the door.

“Good night Bette” Tina finally greeted her friend still with that weird sadness in her eyes, as she closed the door.

“Well Bette seems like a really nice person TK…” Julia commented as soon as Tina finished her task. The blonde could do nothing much but to let the weight of head rest against that door.

Why? Why do I care so much about my stupid friend being so nice to another one of my friends? Who happens to be a lesbian of course… wait… Julia is not a lesbian… Tina´s head was in turmoil, for she knew Julia enough to know when she wasn’t just being friendly.

“Tina? Honey? Could you look at me when I’m speaking to you?” Julia went from slightly excited to pretty much annoyed in record time.

“What?” Tina asked, also irritated as she turned around to face her high school friend.

“Have you heard anything I have just said to you? And why do you look like that one time that we lost the championship´s final?” Perhaps Julia had not yet realized the effect her words and tone of voice had on her friend, but still she could tell that something was off with the blonde.

“I’m just tired Jules… besides we’ve been studying non stop all afternoon… you know… this finals season is going to be the end of me…” Tina massively lied.

    1. Okay, things are moving along in 1996…. Tina has introduced Julia and is upset with Bette because some woman threw herself at her. Tina is smitten with Bette but does not want to admit it….

In the current day, Bette is drunk at her own bachelorette party and Tina shows up out of the blue and they can hardly have a conversation…

Seems that no matter what they do, they have trouble talking to each other…..

      Hope to see more soon..

    2. I like this story and I agree with Martha. They have a huge communications breakdown but I think it’s more so with Tina. She keeps too much to herself and when she does let it go she becomes highly irrational. She was the one that avoided Bette and would not speak or see her. She needs to grow up, get real with her actions and non actions and accept huge responsibility for the demise of the relationship. Why did Shane have to be the one to wake her up?
