Bette: “is there something new you haven’t told me?”
Louise: “it’s a bombshell…, by the way, don’t tell Tina that mom will be there”
Bette: “fine…, it will be a very nice surprise for her…
At that moment Tina was entering the office, hearing the last words and Bette realized she was no longer alone.
… I have to go, we coordinate later”
Tina: “Bette…, am I interrupting something?”
Bette: “not at all, baby…, I was coordinating some details for our wedding…”
Tina: “are you going to tell me?”
Bette: “can’t…, is a surprise”
Tina: “hmm…, I’ll need to find a good surprise to match yours”
Bette: “you are all I want…, do you have the list of guests?”
Tina: “yup, they won’t be many, just your family, the consultant team, the protection officers, Jane…, I know Joyce, the lawyer, will come, she is the one who will officiate the wedding, the musicians of Kit’s band are coming too and Alice, I don’t know if she will be able to make it but I think it will distract her from all her pain”
Bette: “fine…, I need to talk to Kit; maybe we can rent the house for a week and stay there”
Tina: “I’d really like that, but I don’t think Jane could use the police force to protect us the whole week”
Bette: “well…, that’s part of my surprise, a private bodyguard crew”
Tina: “hmm…, how much will it cost?’
Bette: “don’t worry, I’ll take care of that, the only problem is to convince Jane that it’ll be safe”
Tina: “it’s going to be wonderful to see your family again…”
Bette: “yeah…, I’m sad we’ll never see Marcus again”
Tina: “yeah…, but I’m carrying his seed…, you put it inside me”
Bette: “uh-huh, it’ll have your and my genes”
Tina: (smiling) “maybe it’ll be musician…”
Bette: “ha-ha…, that was a good one”
Tina: “why not? Anyway it’ll be whatever wants to be”
Bette: “yup, you’re right…, still remember the first time I took you to my parent’s home…”
Remembering
Thanksgiving was around the corner, Maxine has called Bette several times reminding her to come to Philadelphia and have dinner with them. Last year the holiday was a nightmare for the brunette; as it was her first year in college, her father wanted her to rethink her career choices, but the conversation ended in a quarrel and with Bette leaving her parents’ house prematurely. This year she has a girlfriend and she wanted to be with her all their free days, well, all the time indeed; but Maxine has extended the invitation to Tina and her mom, insisting Bette that at least, bring Tina; Maxine was very impressed with Kit’s description of the blonde. Bette was evaluating what to do; she has a feud with her father, but Maxine was always her main supporter in all matters, and the one currently helping her with her expenses at MIT.

Yup, you’re totally right, I was thinking to write more of the wedding, too, I even have partially written the wedding vows, but it was going to be too long and I needed to reach the scene of Tasha and Alice; besides sometimes I put much attention to some general comments and PMs, and I didn’t want to have a rating R or 17, this time.
But “the night is young” and who knows what will happen in the next chapters that will have the wedding night in the beginning.
For my next wedding (I mean TIBETTE’s wedding) I’ll write more in detail.

My lovely wife allowed me to read your update!
I am so glad Bette &Tina are married and that Tina’s mom was there. But i am still a little worried how Tina is going to react when she finds out Bette was in contact with Louise. She will be pissed of.
Alice & Tasha, hmm, i loved them together in the L Word. But i think Tasha gets her heart broken when Alice &Dana will be reunited.
Mr. Kennard get what he deserve and i hope this will be only the beginning.
