Side Effects Chapter 11 – WEDDING TIME

Tina: “your family was worried about us, baby, you can’t blame them”
Bette: “perhaps…, but my father always screws everything…, he hates me”
Tina: “no baby, he loves you”
Bette: “how could you say that…, you don’t know what I have been through with him”
Tina: “okay…, just come with me, we are going to rest and tomorrow we’ll talk with them”
Tina removed her robe showing her naked body and pulled Bette to the mattress, the love-making made the brunette forget her anger for a moment.
Early in the morning, Maxine was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, when Tina entered, the rest of the inhabitants of the house were still sleeping.
Tina: “good morning Mrs. Maxine”
Maxine: (surprised to hear someone awake) “Tina, child…, good morning, what are you doing so early here”
Tina: “hmm…, maybe the custom…, I used to prepare breakfast for all of us in our apartment every day”
Maxine: “all of you? Who are we talking about?”
Tina: “well, we live, officially, four in my apartment, but Bette usually stays with me overnight and one of my roommates has a girlfriend who lives with Bette, she also comes for breakfast”
Maxine: “wow…, you cook breakfast for six?”
Tina: “well, mostly, but when we have exams we are sometimes more”
Maxine: “and…, who pay for everything?”
Tina: “we usually have a refrigerator very well supplied and there are always other things in the kitchen”
Maxine: “and everybody buys the food?”
Tina: “it really doesn’t matter, we all are friends, and I like to do it for them…, indeed I woke up early to see if I could help you with breakfast”
Maxine: “oh…, it’s very nice of you, but you are visiting, it wouldn’t be fair to make you work for our breakfast, besides…, Bette must be mad about last night”
Tina: “she has a problem with her dad”
Maxine: “did she tell you?”
Tina: “yes…, I think she understands you were worried about us…”
Maxine: “I’m sorry, Tina, we didn’t want to intrude, but Kit feared you both had left the house”
Tina: “why she thought that?”
Maxine: (red faced) “because everything was quiet…, apparently she was expecting some noise from your room”
Tina: (smiling) “oh…, she was waiting for some action…, well we had the pillow… (regretting her last comment)”

Yup, you’re totally right, I was thinking to write more of the wedding, too, I even have partially written the wedding vows, but it was going to be too long and I needed to reach the scene of Tasha and Alice; besides sometimes I put much attention to some general comments and PMs, and I didn’t want to have a rating R or 17, this time.
But “the night is young” and who knows what will happen in the next chapters that will have the wedding night in the beginning.
For my next wedding (I mean TIBETTE’s wedding) I’ll write more in detail.

My lovely wife allowed me to read your update!
I am so glad Bette &Tina are married and that Tina’s mom was there. But i am still a little worried how Tina is going to react when she finds out Bette was in contact with Louise. She will be pissed of.
Alice & Tasha, hmm, i loved them together in the L Word. But i think Tasha gets her heart broken when Alice &Dana will be reunited.
Mr. Kennard get what he deserve and i hope this will be only the beginning.
