    Maxine: “what are you going to tell her?”

    Unfortunately, Bette left her phone on the first floor and it starts ringing very loud, at the point that Melvin woke up and Bette and Tina heard the special tune of the phone far away.

    Tina: “Bette, Bette wake up, your phone is ringing”

    Bette: “what…?”

    The brunette put on her robe and walked to the door, hearing a commotion outside; Melvin had gone to the first floor to pick up the phone and was now at her bedroom door with it, while Maxine, Kit, and Marcus were trying to dissuade him of knocking the door; Bette was surprised when she opened the door and saw everybody there looking at her.

    Bette: “what’s going on?”

    Melvin: “someone is calling you and it is 2:30 am in the morning…, don’t your friends know it’s too late to disturb other people’s dream?”

    Bette: “what…? Who…?”

    Maxine: “Melvin, go back to sleep…”

    Bette: (checking the number) “it was Marcus…”

    Melvin: “what…?”

    Bette: (looking to her brother) “Marcus was calling me”

    Melvin: (looking to his son) “what the hell…”

    Marcus: “I’m sorry, but mom and Kit were worried for you and Tina”

    Melvin: “why…?”

    Maxine: “we’ll talk downstairs…”

    Bette: “no, mom, I want to know what’s going on”

    Maxine explained how she found Kid concerned about the safety of the girls, and how the fear was growing like a snowball, involving all the relatives in the house; of course, Bette was angry. 

    Bette: “listen, all of you…, we came here because you asked us to come, you knew Tina and I were girlfriends, right?”

    Maxine: “it’s okay baby…”

    Bette: “why can’t we have a little bit of privacy?”

    Melvin: (looking toward the bedroom) “why are you sleeping on the floor instead of on the bed?”

    Bette: “what…? Oh please you have to be kidding…, I’m going to rest”

    In the bedroom Tina was standing behind the door and close o Bette, she has heard everything; after closing the door she talks to Bette.

    Tina: “I’m sorry Bette”

    Bette: “don’t be, is not our fault…, it’s them”

        Yup, you’re totally right, I was thinking to write more of the wedding, too, I even have partially written the wedding vows, but it was going to be too long and I needed to reach the scene of Tasha and Alice; besides sometimes I put much attention to some general comments and PMs, and I didn’t want to have a rating R or 17, this time.

        But “the night is young” and who knows what will happen in the next chapters that will have the wedding night in the beginning.

        For my next wedding (I mean TIBETTE’s wedding) I’ll write more in detail.

      My lovely wife allowed me to read your update!

      I am so glad Bette &Tina are married and that Tina’s mom was there. But i am still a little worried how Tina is going to react when she finds out Bette was in contact with Louise. She will be pissed of.

      Alice & Tasha, hmm, i loved them together in the L Word. But i think Tasha gets her heart broken when Alice &Dana will be reunited.

      Mr. Kennard get what he deserve and i hope this will be only the beginning.

        Yes, Alice has to think about many things, who knows how Dana comes back (if she comes back, which I hope so)

        And you’re again right, this is the beginning for Don Kennard, but remember there is nothing worse than a wounded beast.
