    “I’ve been busted, they have a video of me entering a hotel with James, fortunately the video didn’t show his face or any clue to identify him, they asked me if I’m gay or something; I lied, I said I was buying drugs, they bit it, but I’m being watched, I change my phone, give this number to James ———-, tell him to call me on midnights, I have info” 

    Tina: “well that’s it”

    James: “we have to be careful, I suggest keeping this information just for us at the moment, if we tell Jane, she may summon him to the police station to give his statements”

    Tina: “okay”

     

    Boston, Ma, Saturday, 5:00 am 

     

    Tina has been working in her computer, the encrypted files she copied from Imhotep, she was tired of being awake the whole night in her bedroom, but she has the feeling that those files are important and urgent, she copied most of the files on Friday evening, the last time she was in Imhotep, but she is still working on them, she could unencrypt the main folders but the documents on them were encrypted with an especial code; although she was very smart and skilled with computers, her strength wasn’t encryptions and codes, that was Bette’s strong point, but they still don’t talk to each other, on the contrary, Bette has manifested aversion for some of Tina’s colleagues, as was shown in a conversation her ex, had with Maura and for some unknown reason her dislike is especially against Brenda.

    Outside Tina’s room, in the corridor that connects with the rest of the rooms in the safe house, Bette was walking toward the kitchen for a cup of coffee; she saw the light under Tina’s door six hours ago, when she went to the kitchen for a cup of tea before going to sleep, but now the light is still on; and she was wondering, what is keeping Tina awake, perhaps her ex is sick…, or depressed, hopefully the blonde is not talking with someone by phone; Bette took a decision and continue her journey to the kitchen and came back knocking on Tina’s door while balancing two cups of coffee in her hands, suddenly the door opens to show the blonde with her tired and sleepy eyes.

      Keeping secrets to protect the woman or friends you love is hard and i feel sorry for both of them.

      I hope they are able to save Dana, Carmen and all the others. Donovan and the other man are very creepy and sick man. I hope they torture and castrate them.

        Thank you for your comment, yes this chapter is a little hard, I put here what I didn’t write in chapter 2, but I think it’s important to show the whole picture.

        I agree with you, secrets are difficult to keep especially if they involve loved ones.

        Unfortunately, more people will be abducted, let see what our friends would be able to do about that.

      Amazing update, although it’s really heart breaking,
      Tina and Bette won’t be a classic couple unless facing all odds, feeling so sad for Tina about the trauma.

      Bette’s computer abilities were really useful, hope that Dana and most of the girls can get rid off this catastrophe as soon as possible.

      Can’t wait for next chapter, thank you for the astonishing story!

        Yes, Bette’s and Tina’s relationship has been shadowed by the wickedness of Tina’s vicious uncle, whose obsessiveness is growing as a snowball that is destroying many other innocent people.

        I also hope Dana and all the other victims who still alive could be cure from the ‘poison’ injected into their bodies.

      Love the story but my old brain means I have to keep going back to refresh my Memory. It’s not a great problem as I pick up new things each time I read.
