Bette: “I’m sorry…, I saw the light on, six-hour ago and I see you’re still up, I was worried about you, I thought you may be sick”
Tina: “thanks for caring, but I’m fine”
Bette: “I’m bringing a cup of coffee for you”
Tina: “oh…, thanks…, do you want to come in?”
Bette: “sure”
Inside the bedroom, the brunette noticed the files on the screen of the monitor.
Bette: “are you working on something?”
Tina: “well…, as a matter of fact, I am…, but I’m stuck, encrypted files are not my field”
Bette: “I can help… if you let me”
Tina: “yeah…, I was thinking of you, you are very good at this…, but I didn’t want to bother you”
Bette: “you never bother me, baby”
The word of endearment made Tina shiver, but she is not going to take her ex back if she is not sure about Bette’s feelings.
Tina: “okay…, but first I will tell you where those files are coming from”
As Tina explained the source of the files and the situation of Coleman in Imhotep, they start working on the encryption and the codes to decipher those files.
It is now 9:30 am and Bette is still working on the files, a couple of them have been opened and those reveal a list of task and the name of one of Tina’s former aids Adele who has stopped coming to work in the lab, the document indicate that Adele was in complicity with Eric and working for Imhotep and she was assigned to steal Tina’s samples, the document indicated that it took many attempts to fulfill her goal; the last part of the document also showed discrepancies in opinions between Eric and Henry, who believed the stolen drug wasn’t the correct one, but it could apparently ‘work’ with 50% of certainty, however the immediate side effects and ulterior complications were unpredictable, a final comment make the girls feel sick ‘no ulterior effects will be studied in the injected individuals, unless they were part of an important economic transaction; the bottom line is that they are just human aberrations’
Tina: “hell…, how someone can think that not even the most retrograde homophobic could talk in that way…, I think I’m going to vomit”

Keeping secrets to protect the woman or friends you love is hard and i feel sorry for both of them.
I hope they are able to save Dana, Carmen and all the others. Donovan and the other man are very creepy and sick man. I hope they torture and castrate them.

Thank you for your comment, yes this chapter is a little hard, I put here what I didn’t write in chapter 2, but I think it’s important to show the whole picture.
I agree with you, secrets are difficult to keep especially if they involve loved ones.
Unfortunately, more people will be abducted, let see what our friends would be able to do about that.

Amazing update, although it’s really heart breaking,
Tina and Bette won’t be a classic couple unless facing all odds, feeling so sad for Tina about the trauma.
Bette’s computer abilities were really useful, hope that Dana and most of the girls can get rid off this catastrophe as soon as possible.

Yes, Bette’s and Tina’s relationship has been shadowed by the wickedness of Tina’s vicious uncle, whose obsessiveness is growing as a snowball that is destroying many other innocent people.
I also hope Dana and all the other victims who still alive could be cure from the ‘poison’ injected into their bodies.
