Quickly, Kelly and Jenny discovered there were others, a few ones, like them faking a positive response to the drug, trying to plot their escape; and the rest of the kidnapped interns either have already changed their sexual orientation or are pretending, but have a lot of distrust of revealing their situation; for that reason, the few of them, faking being changed that were already in contact, had to be cautious and follow the directions of Dr. Buckley without arousing suspicious.
The security in the rehabilitation house was tight and there was no way to flee, their only choice was to follow Dr. Buckley’s orders and doctrine, and wait until the opportunity of run-away shows up; just wait for the right opportunity to escape.
Boston, Ma, Wednesday 7:00 p.m.
Bette has decided to continue with the promise she and Tina had made to each other; she wants them to marry soon, so she asked Jane for help.
Jane: “do you want to talk to me?”
Bette: “yes…”
Jane: “well…, about what?”
Bette: “I need your help…”
Jane: “hmm…, okay…, tell me”
Bette: “I…, I need a marriage license”
Jane: “I don’t do that, Bette”
Bette: “I know…, but I need to get one…, it is urgent”
Jane: (smiling) “wow…, how you did to get her pregnant?”
Bette: “what…? Oh please Jane, stop it…, it’s not a joke…, I need it quickly”
Jane: “look, Bette, I know…, well we all know you and Tina are back together but what is the rush?”
Bette: “things could get worse and I don’t want to lose her again”
Jane: “did she agree, or it’s only you?”
Bette: “course, she accepted…, you don’t believe me, do you?”
Jane: “Bette…, I really do believe you…, just…, this is not the best time, look, all of you are in danger and under police protection”
Bette: “Jane, please, put yourself in my shoes…”
Jane: “hmm…, fine I will ask for a unit to take you and Tina to the City Hall and make the paperwork…, it may be tomorrow, but I don’t know the time yet, I have to talk to someone there to do this quickly…, hmm…but I’ll let you know early in the morning…, you both have your documents, right?

However, the ‘clue’ to solving the cliffhanger, is in those last two chapters. Then you may have an idea of what is coming in the next chapter.
The cliffhanger is the reason why this chapter is a bit longer than the former ones because I wanted to reach this point. Now, I’m feeling a little guilty.
