    Lady in red

    “Tina frequents the plant?” Bette asked

    “Yes, see what you’ve been missing. I often see her with these two” Kit said “But lately she’s been stopping by with this really hot British chicky, a Helena somebody”

    “Helena Peabody” Alice said “Yeah that’s her boss at the studio Kit, they’ve been spending a lot of time together…….. Working” Alice winks

    “Well all I can say Miss. Tina is looking real fine lately” Kit said “She’s still so sweet, I love that girl”

    “So, wait…what do you mean spending time with Helena?” Bette asked “like dating kind of time?’

    “No, no Bette I don’t think it’s like that they’ve been working late on some projects, they have a late dinner or coffee after work just keeping each other company” Shane looked for Bette’s reaction

    Bette had a perplex look on her face “How is she doing?”

    “How’s who doing Bette?” Shane asked

    “Tina, how’s Tina doing? Is she coming tonight? You did invite her right?”

    “Yeah I invited her, but she said she had some work commitment that involved some scripts” Alice answered

    “Oh and Bette she’s doing real well, the first couple of months were really tough on her I never saw her more depressed and let down”

    “Why?  What happened” Bette asked in a concerned voice

    Shane looked at her friend and noticed the concern on her face, Shane had suspected that Bette in more than one occasion she wanted to ask about the blonde but Shane never offered any information that Bette didn’t request, Shane knew about their encounter that one night, Tina had confided in her through tears about the mixed feelings she “thought” she had for Bette.

    “She’s fine now Bette it’s just her job was really stressful for her the first couple of months, you know how the movie business is everyone tries to get ahead no matter at what cost, Tina needed to develop thick skin”  Shane smiles “You should see her now Bette she’s all Alpha now”

    “Yeah, don’t mess with the Kennard” Alice said laughing

    Just then Alice’s mouth opens and she has a shocked look on her face

    “Oh my fricken God, red see told ya red, red is defiantly TK’s color” Alice said pointing at the door

    3. First off, Bette needs some serious help. Tina spends the night with her and she doesn’t even have the manners to check with her friends to see how she’s doing — in seven months??? That is the height of self-absorption. I could understand that Bette may not contact her personally but not asking Shane or Alice about her? Frankly, she deserves to have some difficulty capturing Tina’s heart after being such a ninny for so long. She’s definitely going to have competition – particularly now that Helena has figured out her interest in Tina. This story just keeps getting more interesting… I hope you post again soon. You left us hanging at the party! I am requesting at least one private moment with Tina and Bette at the party… :>)

    5. Gee, how did I miss this story? Can’t believe it, so glad I caught up. Took me a good part of my Sunday LOL. My little heart broke for Tina because of Bette’s behaviour that night they shared together but I love seeing what became of the little innocent T, it made her stronger and changed her life but yet she remained this sweet and caring person. Gosh, I love how you portrayed her in this story

    7. Bette said the wrong thing to Helena because she can be a first class b–ch and will not mind rubbing Bette’s nose in it. Bette and Tina need to talk very soon and Bette needs to reign the green-eyed monster that has taken up residence in her mind. Helena will be merciless in her attack. PPS

    13. Fight…fight…fight!! LOL! Hmm, Bette has to make a play for Tina but I’m not sure how she’s going to find time now that she has 2 magazines to focus on…We need Hels to disappear (not that I don’t like her I just prefer the T&B combo)

    15. So happy there was an update – Great Chapter! Nice to see Tina worried that she has lost weight and is rundown – she should to take care of Bette. Maybe now Bette can come to terms with her feelings and go after Tina – nothing like a little competition to light a fire and need i say “let the games begin”. Need more – soon – PPS !

    18. Alpha Tina but still sweet and kind to her friends. Still humble inspite of her success. I think it’s time for Bette to realize that she will loose Tina eventually if she doesn’t find a way of pouring out what’s in her heart, especially now that Helena knows her yearning. Helena will double the effort of making Tina like her…..I love this story and thank you for posting….waiting for the next post pls.
