The Most Distant Course
Bette and Sam are startled but not show it, the beautiful Latino is covered with dirt and blood, clearly being tortured for an exact confession. She drops some weight, her used-to-be perfect body is full of wounds and scars. Since Jodi pointed out she’s the undercover, it has been two weeks that this woman being incarcerated, seeing how Jodi’s brutalitarian can be, Bette can’t help shiver a bit.
“Raise your head, traitor.” Tina says calmly.
Carmen rubs her hurting head, she slowly stands up.
“Where…Where am I? Where the fuck is this place?”
Everyone stares at the Big Mama of the Prostitution business, her clothes is dirty and covered with mud. The make up on her face is ruined, dark hair waves untidy when the wind blows through, matted on both side of her face. The subtle light in her eyes is no longer to be found.
Carmen is greatly nonplussed and uncertain for the moment, seeing the row of people standing behind her young boss, all fixing their gaze on her, the looks are very dignified, the air was getting heavier and heavier. She is panting, exertion to maintain her breath, even no one says a thing, with her smart brain she can instantly figure what the situation is.
“Ju…Justine! Justine! Why are we…What are we doing here?”
“I believe you know clearly why you are here.” Tina says coldly. “You betray the company, you have to be punished.”
“Wha…No, no, no, no…You know you are making mistakes, right?” Carmen says while she spits out blood.
“Am I?” Tina sneers. “You really don’t have any idea how you get to this place?”
“Is it because of the crazy undercover thing?” Carmen chuckles. “Come on, Justine, you know me, I have no reason to betray the organization.”
“Carmen, Carmen…” Tina waves her hand. “That is the most funniest thing I’ve ever heard, no reason? That’s impossible, everyone has a reason, and you? You want to control, you want the throne of the Cooper Industry.”
“This saying is completely unfounded, I have no reason to betray the company, there is no benefit for me if I do so.”
“Then tell me, why there are FBI coded messages in your ad? Why every time when your brothel gave out the advertising, a dealing of organization would be caught by either the FBI or the police? Why?”

Hi! Thank you for the chapter!
But i must say i don’t like what happened in this chapter.
First – Tina on grugs again.
Second – like i said earlier i don’t care about Carmen death. But i have suspicion that (spoiler) But in this case obviously that Bette didn’t know anything about this, but i can feel that Sam knew. So Tina trust Sam more than Bette. And for me it death sentence for B&T realationship.
So we will see if i right than

I think my comment got lost in space again! ????
Sad that Carmen had to be taken away by Tina.
How much more can Tina endure? She is a brilliant and strong woman and i am glad that that she has the love and support from Bette. And yes Sam as well.
You left with a cliffie again!ooking forward to the next chapter!

Hi CJ:
Strong chapter, hard to imagine Tina killing Carmen, but in a former chapter, Tina said that she made modifications on her gun (?) Is there something you haven’t write here?
You wrote here what I already suspected reading former chapters, but I wasn’t totally sure, Sebastian Cooper had sex with Tina in the brothel despite recognizing her as her own daughter; that guy is not a man, he is not an animal, he is the damn walking devil, he deserves to be burned alive and slowly; I heard of a few cases like this in real life and always made me sick and there is no excuse for the father, poor Tina.
I like Bette very much, how she trusts, supports and protectsTina no matter what.
Great chapter CJ, keep the good work.
