    The Most Distant Course 2

Tina holds up a paper and put it down within a second.

Bette swallow. Damn, she’s good. She thinks.

“You were certainly checking me during the class.”

“I sit behind you, I have no choice but to look forward,” Tina says as she closes her locker. “If this makes you feel uncomfortable, I apologize, but if you insist that I Am checking on you…I believe you need to see a doctor for your Narcissistic tendency.” Tina looks Bette straight in the eyes. “Is there anything else? If not, you better go prepare, I remember that we have the same Mandarin class.”

Bette opens her mouth, ready to reply immediately, but no word comes out. Tina nods.

    “Very well then.”

Tina turns around, ready to leave the lockers, but a person suddenly appears in front of her and block her way, she calmly looks up. Adele claps her hand, with Kelly and Alice following behind her.

“Well, well, well, looks who this it, the famous creepy dyke in Wallace High.”

Tina doesn’t say a word, she holds her book tighter, Bette can see her legs are shaking.

“You know it is my first time saw our dear Bette speechless,” Adele says with a seductive tone. “You must be one of a kind.”

“What do you want?” Tina says without any emotion.

“Just to make some friends.” Kelly answers.

“Appreciate, but I don’t need friends.” Tina says matter-of-fact, trying to go through the four of them, but Adele pushes her back to the circle.

“Hang on a sec, we’re not finished yet…”

But Tina holds up her free hand to cut her down. Expect Adele, all students gasp and shot their eyes wide open, this never happened before. No one, no one can stop “The Golden Circle” to do anything they want.

“Look, I don’t want to cause you guys any problem, but before you want to do anything to me, I’m going to say that this is not the first school I’ve stayed. And trust me, I’ve seen and been through a lot, you are not the only bully I’ve met. Frankly speaking, you are not the first and certainly never going to be the worst. So why don’t you guys just save your time for yourself instead of wasting time on the person like me? Now excuse me, ladies.”

All four of them are speechless now, they blankly look at Tina walking away. Bette doesn’t know what happened to her, right after Tina said those words to Adele, she couldn’t control the smirk on her face. No one in this town dares to speak to Adele like this, even the big mouth Alice. Kelly? Nah, she only bold enough to steal other’s partner.

Tina Kennard, Bette makes a mental note, still can’t resist the smile. You really are one of a kind.

“I don’t care what she’s been through or seen,” Adele light up a cigarette, suck a full mouth of smoke. “But I’m so definitely going to crush her.”

    1. Take all the time you need, this story is amazing.

Tina is a very brave woman to speak to the Golden Circle like that. Applause for her.

It does make me wonder what she endured in her life so far. She is strong.

      Thanks for the update.

    2. Thanks for this part!

Tina very brave and Bette seems don’t have guts and own opinion for now, but maybe in the future she can change.

Ok, waiting for the next and of course post when you can, we not rushing you

    3. P.S. I forgot to tell you about something – when you add new chapter to the story you can choose option – “write a book”, not just “add single story”.

    4. Hey CJ:

You just made my day. That was pretty good, I’ll rather say excellent; I like it very much, confrontation in all sense is good for my point of view.

I think Bette found her match, both smart girls, both bold; maybe Tina could rescue Bette from that ‘vicious circle’ of bullies, maybe Bette may rescue Tina from her loneliness and that shadow of sadness in her inner world.

This story is getting better each time. Thank you so much for the update. I would like longer chapters but is okay whatever you can give us. Waiting eagerly for the next chapter.

      • I’m really glad my story can make somebody happy, it’s also made my day when I saw all the comments! Really brought me lots of confidence.

Exactly, they both have something the other doesn’t have, I like the saying “The more you know about your enemy, the more you love them.” Thank you for your comment, gives me strength to keep writing,
