Bette joined Tina and Lilly in the bedroom to spend a few minutes with Alex before saying goodnight. She sang him one of his favorite lullabies then gave Lilly last minute instructions to care for Alex overnight before kissing his forehead and handing him over. Tina also kissed the baby before Lilly lay him in the crib as he was already half asleep.
When they came out of the bedroom they found Peter in the living room looking over the room service menu for an early dinner. Since Tina had been staying at the hotel for two months he asked her recommendations not only on the best meal choices but also for a good movie that he and Lilly could watch on-demand. Tina provided several options depending on what they were in the mood for and told them to be sure to charge it to her account.
They both kissed Lilly and Peter on the cheek as they said their goodnights and made them promise one last time to call if needed. Otherwise they would meet up mid-morning for brunch in the hotel restaurant. They hadn’t made any plans beyond that as Tina didn’t know what would be required of her time once confronted by Aaron and William about the missing film but the hope was to head back to the ranch by late afternoon. No matter the outcome of her movie project, she wasn’t going back to Los Angeles with the crew. She was taking some well-deserved time off and after the way Peter, Lilly and Bette boasted about Rancho Capriccio she couldn’t wait to spend the next few weeks there.

Bette and Tina held hands for the short walk to Tina’s suite. As much as they’d enjoyed being with Alex, Peter and Lilly they were anxious to finally have time alone. As she thought about the evening ahead Tina almost wished that she hadn’t agreed to attend the wrap party, but she knew she couldn’t back out now. She had to at least make an appearance and more importantly she had to face William. She didn’t know how much Aaron had told him about the situation, but she wasn’t about to be made the scapegoat for this disaster.
