    B&T Beginning Set on College Campus. Tina nodded and before her head could finish one full nod, Bette kissed her deeply. She tasted Tina in a way that would leave an impression on the young blonde’s soul

     

    Just then their waiter appeared and finished up the table’s drink orders. When he disappeared, Tina and Kit shared recommendations of cuisine and when their food orders had been placed, Kit took a deep breath and began to speak.

     

    “There’s something I want to say to you, two. On the whole notion of family sticking together and making family sometimes when you don’t have one.”

     

    Bette swallowed nervously, unsure of the purpose in her sister’s words. “What is it?” she asked softly.

     

    “I really admire you and despite my years in the industry, making deals, doing albums, going on tours, working with different artists, you two are the only people in this world, besides my mother, that I feel I can really trust. I’ve made it 29 years and you two are the only ones I can trust. That’s funny, huh?”

     

    Tina shook her head in that knowledgably respectful way only she could pull off. “It’s not so funny. It’s hard to find people you can really trust. People that will look at you with all your warts and still want to talk to you. I didn’t find people I could really trust until I came to college. And even then, if I hadn’t had the good fortune to room with Bette, who knows what type of friendships I would have really had.”

     

    “Kit, I’m just impressed that you feel you can trust us. Thank you for that. You know the feeling is mutual,” said Bette.

     

    “Ditto here,” Tina replied.

     

    “Well, good. That brings me to the question I want to ask you,” said Kit.

     

    “O-kay,” said Bette, tossed Tina a look of confusion before she returned her gaze to her sister.

     

    Kit took a deep breath and said, “I would really be honored if you two would be the co-Godmother’s for my baby.”

     

    Bette was speechless and a crimson coloring floated up and took residence in Tina’s tanned cheeks.

     

    “Godmothers?”, asked Tina.

     

    Kit nodded and absently rubbed her belly. “If it’s not too much to ask. It’s just that there is no one else I’d want involved in my baby’s life so closely. No one else I’d want to look after the baby if something happened to me.”

Hate to see that this part of their life is ending because it started it all for me, but so please to see a new beginning is coming and is so looking forward to reading the it.     10. I am saddened that they have to seperate even if it is for the summer. Maybe Tina can visit Bette. I did like Aunt Karen and hope that she can be there for Bette. I worry a bit about Tina because she has nobody to talk to about Bette. Please don’t keep our girls seperated tooo long.

    11. Hey MTS! I love this story and your writing is excellent. Am I nuts, or did ch 65 end differently than the start of ch 66 shows under “previously”. I show the last sentence of ch 65 being “And most importantly, why was Eric calling all of a sudden?” but your “previously” shows it as “When their call ended, Bette looked over at the newly framed photo of Kit she had on her desk. She smiled to herself and rushed to call Tina and tell her the good news.” Am I missing something?
