    B&T Beginning Set on College Campus. Tina nodded and before her head could finish one full nod, Bette kissed her deeply. She tasted Tina in a way that would leave an impression on the young blonde’s soul

     

    Bette finally found her voice. She leaned forward and smiled, “Kit, I would be honored to be your baby’s Godmother.”

     

    Tina smiled. “And so would I.”

     

    Kit exhaled. “Thank you. I’m just so happy to have that settled. Thank you.”

     

    “Thank you, Kit,” Tina replied. “You’ve only known me a short time and to grant me such an honor is amazing.”

     

    “Tina, I have only known you a short time. But I can read people and right away, I knew you were good people. On top of that, you were handpicked by Bette. I’ve never known her to be so close to anyone. If she can trust you, I know I can trust you, too. Trust is so important. It’s something I really want to instill in my child.”

     

    “How is the baby?” asked Bette.

     

    “Any names yet?” asked Tina.

     

    Kit smiled and rubbed her belly. She was nearly 6 months pregnant. “My baby boy is good. Still no names yet.”

     

    “Well, you’ll have to keep us posted. As the Godmothers we have to make sure you don’t pick anything crazy for our little nephew,” said Bette.

     

    The three of them shared a good laugh and shortly thereafter, their food arrived. They ate and talked and when they were done, it was time for Kit to head back to San Diego.

     

    “It’s been a real pleasure,” she said.

     

    “Likewise,” Bette replied.

     

    Kit hugged her baby sister to her tightly. “I love you, Bette. You take care of yourself this summer, you hear?”

     

    Bette nodded. Afraid that if she spoke, she’d start to cry.

     

    Kit released one Godmother and replaced her with the other. “Tina, take care Sweetie.”

     

    Tina replied, “I will. You take care of that little boy in your belly.”

     

    When it was all said and done, the girls watched Kit drive away before making their way back to the dorm.

    That night, Bette and Tina hosted their closest friends in a private end of year bash. They shared a series of bad movies, good junk food, and each other’s presence. At around 3 am, the party started to die down and shortly thereafter, most everyone was gone.

Hate to see that this part of their life is ending because it started it all for me, but so please to see a new beginning is coming and is so looking forward to reading the it.     10. I am saddened that they have to seperate even if it is for the summer. Maybe Tina can visit Bette. I did like Aunt Karen and hope that she can be there for Bette. I worry a bit about Tina because she has nobody to talk to about Bette. Please don’t keep our girls seperated tooo long.

    11. Hey MTS! I love this story and your writing is excellent. Am I nuts, or did ch 65 end differently than the start of ch 66 shows under “previously”. I show the last sentence of ch 65 being “And most importantly, why was Eric calling all of a sudden?” but your “previously” shows it as “When their call ended, Bette looked over at the newly framed photo of Kit she had on her desk. She smiled to herself and rushed to call Tina and tell her the good news.” Am I missing something?
