”What’s a breast?” Angie asked looking directly at Bette.
”A boobie” Bette answered.
”Ohhh boobies. I don’t want boobies.” Angie replied shaking her head as Bette and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
”Too bad kiddo. You are going to get them” Bette said as she packed and rounded the snow in a ball together with Angie. I just kind of pulled back and let them take over.
”Well I can stop them before they come out. My friend Margie said that her sister wears duck tape to keep her boobies from coming out” Angie replied.
”Angie? Did you say duck tape?” I asked as Bette giggled
Angie nodded her head.
”Uh huh. Margie said it’s for taping the duck’s bill together when they quack too much but her sister uses it to keep her boobies from growing”
Bette and I giggled and figured it was time to set Angie straight.
”Angie, the tape you are referring to is called duct tape with a T not duck with a K” I say and Angie stops packing snow for the second layer and looks at me.
”Really Mama? Well then how come Margie said it was duck tape”
”Well? Because duct sounds so much like duck when you say it so they just nicknamed it that” Bette answered as we glanced at each other and smiled.
Angie shook her head and went back to packing snow into a ball.
”Well that’s stupid. I still want some though to wrap around me to keep my boobies from growing”
”Why don’t you want boobies Angie?” I ask wondering why she felt that way
Angie sighed and shrugged her shoulders.
”Because Margie’s mama lost one of hers and that’s why her sister doesn’t want hers to grow. I don’t want to lose mine either”
Bette and I and looked at each other knowing that Angie was talking about breast cancer and before I could even get to Angie Bette was already there sitting her down on her lap to talk to her.
”Angie. Do you know why Margie’s mama lost a boobie?” Bette asked as Angie shook her head.
”Well sometimes in people, it doesn’t matter if they are a man or a woman, will get something called cancer. Cancer is like when you open a banana and you find it all black and gross. Have you ever opened a banana to find that?” Bette asked and Angie nodded

Thank you for getting this chapter done so quickly. I just want them to get back together very soon. I like your writing style and your sense of humor which adds so much to the story. Am still trying to guess on Secret Santa’s identity.

Angelica is such a lovely girl, how can not everyone love her.
They talked a little and want to try again, wonderful news, but they need more talking to make sure that they won’t fall back in the same behaviours as before.
