Maybe we should collaborate YOUR story with Andy.” Tina gave Sally the signal to forward the appointment to Andrew Bosher so he could join the video conference. She’d already spoken to him and he was standing by.

    “It’s not MY story Tina. Andy called ME remember? It was YOUR signature on the faxes.” Aaron defended himself. He didn’t like that Tina had the upper hand, especially since he was her target not Kate.

    “You colluded to defraud an investor Aaron even if it was after the fact. That’s grounds for dismissal. Why would you put your career in jeopardy to go along with Kate?”

    “I think the more important question is why would Kate make up a distributor if she had anything to do with the theft? This all points to you Tina. Maybe it is a good idea to have your lawyer here because you’re digging your own grave.” Aaron spouted glancing at the monitor where Max, and the two attorneys were clearly in view; each in a separate quadrant.

    Tina’s gaze landed on Kate. “It’s just downright criminal, that a trusted colleague forged my signature on a letter; set me up for theft and fraud, then has the audacity to sit in this room and think for a second that you are fucking going to get away with it. We’ll see just who is digging who’s grave when we’re through with the criminal investigation.”

    William had yet to say a word, but also eyed Kate waiting for some type of explanation. Kate as usual was totally unfazed by anything going on around her. She was too busy checking Tina out and getting turned on by alpha in the form fitting business suit. She so wanted a piece of that. Finally, she spoke up.

    “Really Tina, I don’t even know what I’m doing here. William I told you last night, once I wrapped the movie I knew we had made the right decision to change the ending. I staked my reputation on it, which is why I said we had a distributor. Maybe it was a bit premature but I’m sure they will be clamoring to get this movie. I also had my concerns that Tina would stand in the way of getting it released, and now it appears that she’s done just that. I don’t know anything about how the negatives went missing or what the fuck is going on any more than you do. Like Aaron said Tina’s got some explaining to do.”

To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry,curly,and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account.Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

    7. Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

        • Sharon, I realize it’s been a couple of years but this story hasn’t been laid to rest yet. I will be back with a conclusion. I just got distracted with another story called Daddy that was on my heart so I had to write it. Thank you for the poke. I will see where I am and revive it soon.

      In this very different World we live in today I have done a complete re-read of this Story!

      Needless to say I have enjoyed it immensely!

      Please, please write a Conclusion for us even if you make it an Epilogue!

      Your Storytelling and the way you write is superb BAT please do not leave us without an ending, it is cold and windy on this Cliffhanger here in Canada :-)

    13. Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
