    “Huh?” “B, you’re 45 right now. Add 14 years to get to 59 years old and calculate those 14 years too to add to the total.” “Oh. Right. Right.” Tina smiles over at her wife. Her genius wife. “What did you come up with?” “Sooooo.” Bette adds the other years to the original number she

    “Huh?”

    “B, you’re 45 right now. Add 14 years to get to 59 years old and calculate those 14 years too to add to the total.”

    “Oh. Right. Right.”

    Tina smiles over at her wife. Her genius wife.

    “What did you come up with?”

    “Sooooo.” Bette adds the other years to the original number she got and now has the true comparison totals. “Looks like the actual number would be …”

    Tina looks hopefully at her wife, her brows raised.

    “So that would be another 817,600.

    “Great. Add them both up hon.”

    “So…Absolute final total is now…..” Bette checks her math again and proudly announces – ” 1,704,550 kisses!”

    Tina smiled at the brunette.

    Her brunette.

    Imagine kissing Bette Porter that many times in your life.

    Sign me up, she thought.

    “So honey, you’ll have far more than that guy by the time you’re his age.”

    “Yes!” Bette said excitedly. “Maybe I should contact Guinness.”

    “Maybe.”

    “You think?”

    “No.” Tina took the notepad, pencil and calculator out of her wife’s hands and places them on the coffee table in front of them.

    “No?” Bette’s a bit confused. “But I’ll have more than him T.”

    “Yes, babe you will.” Tina pulls the brunette towards her as she leans back into the cushions of the couch.

    “I’ll give you credit for helping me be the record holder.” Bette tells her wife as she positions herself over Tina. Their bodies coming together their full length. Pressing into each other.

    “Well I was thinking we need to go for the all- time record that no one could ever match.”

    “Really?” Bette grins down at her wife as she bushes some strands of hair from Tina’s face.

    “Yeah, really.”

    “And what did you have in mind Mrs. Porter Kennard?”

    “Was thinking that we need to increase our output every day.” Tina traces Bette’s facial features with her finger.

    “Oh yeah?”

    “Yeah.”

    “And uh, when did you want to start this new output goal?” Bette wraps her arms around her wife.

    “Now would be good.” Tina whispers as their lips are millimeters apart.

    “Did you have a number in mind?”

    “Was thinking we need to get to at least 3 million babe.”

    “I’ll have to do the math on that.”

    “Later babe, Later.” Tina brushes her lips gently over her wife’s. “We have the rest of our lives to practice.”

    “That we do T.” Bette leans down to kiss Tina back, getting lost in her wife’s passion. “That we do . . .”

        This story actually stemmed from a scene I was going to include in another short story. This was marked to be just a paragraph in that story & then I thought – ‘this could be more than just a couple of sentences’.
        So I flushed it out more & tried to give it a light, funny side.
