Taunting me are we, you bad girl?

Bette envisioned standing behind Tina, her arms draped over her shoulders as she bent down to tuck her face into the soft pocket between Tina’s neck and shoulder, gently kissing her favorite spot as she pushed the chair in for her. Or finding Tina’s leg under the table and running her foot up and between her legs until her toes tickled her glorious center, turning her on in a way the fiancé next to her never would. Bette’s mind then ran rampant with the thought that she’d give anything to be between Tina’s thighs, kneading those perfect breasts with her hands while Tina threw her head back so far over the chair that all Bette would see when she looked up would be Tina’s gorgeous, heaving chest rising to meet the underside of her chin.

Shane caught a glimpse of the sweat forming on Bette’s forehead. She crossed her arms on the table and leaned into Bette’s gaping gaze. Bette cleared her throat searching for any drop of moisture that seemed to have drained to her pants.

“And what are you having Bette?” Shane asked with a tinge of sarcasm low enough that no one else heard her among the menu chatter.

“What?” Bette turned to Shane while flipping the menu.

“What?” Shane’s question was not so much in the word as in her look.

While everyone finished eating Angie asked Tina what she was doing for the rest of the day. “Well, not much actually. Carrie has a lot of work to catch up on and I was just going to pack a few things for Toronto.”

“Can we do something?” Angie leaned into her mother.

“Uh, sure, if it’s okay with B.”

Bette blushed as the entire table turned to look at her. The only time the table fell completely silent was when Tina or Carrie spoke to Bette or vice versa.

“Of course it’s okay. I actually have to go to the gallery for a bit.”

Tina felt disappointment drop through her stomach to her toes.

“Are you sure? I mean did you have plans?”

Tina clenched the side of her seat attempting to squash the desire to remove the silk scarf around her ex’s neck and play connect the dots with her tongue of the love bites she had given her just the other day.
