I sign to her and she looks at me perplexed

    “Jodi I realize that even though I love you I could never give my heart to you.  Not when Tina has it and she has always had it since the day she walked into my gallery” I sign and she is nodding at me

    “I know.  I know you are still in love with her.  It’s obvious.  I’m deaf.  Not dumb Bette..  And I know she is jealous of me and she is still in love with you” she signs to me and I’m just blinking at her. She chuckles at the expression on my face which I’m sure is one of confusion . She begins to sign to explain

    “I tested to see her reaction when I put my arm around your waist.  Her face registered jealousy and she gave me a look of disapproval. Then I did it again in Kit’s office and was met with the same reaction.  She doesn’t like seeing you with me” she signs to me and I’m processing all of this

    “So you were testing her?”

    She nods “I wanted to see if she had truly moved on from you and she hasn’t.  And I bet anything she won’t go through with this wedding” she signs and I sigh

    “Wow Jodi… and I thought Shane was Yoda” I sign and she looks at me confused and I smile “I’ll explain later.  But she told me today she decided not to marry Henry”

    Jodi nods as complete satisfaction shows on her face

    “I knew it” she signs and pauses “Bette whether you know it or not you haven’t been monogamous with me at all these 7 months” she signs and I scrunch my face at the accusation

    “What?..You know I have!” I just blurt out and don’t even bother to sign it

    1. Such level headed rational thinking by everyone – Bette, Tina, and Jodi. Wonder if Henry will respond in the same way? Jodi is going back to New York. Bette and Jodi have broken up. Tina and Bette have accepted their own roles in their break up. Time to start anew… Just as soon as Henry knows what’s going on.

      Bette and Tina had a honest talk and a breaktrough, they can finally move on and the best step is to build their friendship first before they can move forward into a relationship.

      Amical end of the relationship between Bette and Jodi, good that they had the talk and were honest. Have a good flight back to NY Jodi!

      Henry, he will not be amused and probably not response that well when Tina breaks up with him.
