    WESTERN SKIES

    Tina – Beautiful …

    ————————————————-

Western Skies stable, afternoon: Tina enters the stable and talks to Jim.

Tina – May I take Minnie for a ride, Jim?

    Jim – Yes, Miss Tina!

    He starts preparing Minnie.

Tina – I think I’m going to explore the valley now. There are some beautiful areas there!

    Jim – Yes, very beautiful!

She looks at Charlie’s empty stall.

Tina – Is Charlie still at the cabin?

Jim – Yes, they’ve been there for a couple of days.

    She chuckles.

Tina – I guess she’s staying away from all the commotion!

Jim – She loves the cabin, Miss Tina. She loves to spend time there. It’s her favorite place!

Tina – I heard that you helped her restore it.

Jim – Yes! I never worked so hard in my life but we got it done!

Tina – It looks stunning from a distance.

Jim – I think so too! It was Bette’s idea. She has an eye for these things.

    ————————————————–

Western Skies valley, afternoon: Tina is riding Minnie in the valley and taking pictures. She sees the cabin not too far away. She stops.

Tina – Do you think she’d let us film, Minnie?

    She chuckles.

Tina – Nah … (pause) Let’s go there anyway!

She touches her heels to Minnie’s belly and they canter away. The producer stops a few yards away from the cabin. She takes a picture.

    Tina – So rustic …

    She looks in all directions.

Tina – But Charlie is not here, Minnie!

She sees smoke coming out of the chimney.

Tina – Maybe she’s out and we can take a peek?

She approaches and dismounts, loosely tying Minnie to a bush in front of the cabin.

Tina – You stay here now! I’m just going to walk around and take some pictures.

    She pats Minnie’s face.

    Tina – I hope she doesn’t mind!

She walks over to the side of the cabin with curiosity when she hears and sees Minnie galloping away.

Tina – Oh noo … Minnie!

    She runs after the mare.

    Tina – Minnie!

She stops, unable to compete with the galloping horse which disappears behind a clump of Aspen trees. She sighs.

Tina – Shit! What are you doing, Minnie?
