What If – Chapter 13
Bette: [nodding her agreement] Smart.
Shane: Speaking of Kit when was the last time you spoke to her?
Bette: Three days ago.
Shane: Oh.
Bette: Why?
Shane: [shaking her head] Nothing.
Bette: Are you implying you know something that I don’t? Because if you are you’re wrong my beloved sister and I are extremely close she tells me everything.
Shane: Did she tell you Lara stopped by the house and talked to Tina before she left?
Bette: [shrugging her shoulders] Of, course I knew.
Shane: Oh, okay just checking I should’ve known considering she’s your beloved sister and all—–.
Bette: [excitedly cuts her off] That JUDAS! Hell, no she didn’t tell me and neither did Tina! No one has seen or heard from Lara since she got here now all of a sudden she shows up at my house! What did she want? Is this about Alice and Dana? Why did she want to speak to Tina? Did she cook us something!?
Shane: Actually, she wanted to talk to you too but you already left for work.
Bette: Talk to me!? For what!?
Now, seeing IE 29 at Window #9 [blares over the DMV intercom]
Shane: Welp, that’s me.
Just foul. [an older woman sitting nearby says shaking her head in shame]
Shane: Hey, I heard that!
Bette: What did she want!?
Shane: [smiles as she walked towards the window]
Bette: Shane!
Shane: Don’t forget sleep over tonight at my place!
Bette: Shane!
Shane: [still smiling] Call your wife. [Bette reminiscent of a little school girl folds her arms pouting]
Bette: [in a childs tone] I don’t want to call my wife.
Shane: [yelling] Besides I think you’re up next.
Now seeing B34 at Window #6 [blast over the DMV intercom]
Bette: [looks down at her wait time number] B142 what the hell!? There isn’t even 142 people here including the security guards! [she says before looking over at the customer service lady who sarcastically waved at her] Crypt Keeper!
Atlanta, GA…..
From the moment she landed in Atlanta Tina had fallen in love. The grand city was the mere opposite of Los Angeles, it was the south and unlike the fast paced city things moved much slower. Everything from the weather, food, and culture she welcomed with open arms. The city enticed her further as she was put up in the finest hotel Atlanta had to offer the Marriot Marquis. She had an exquisite corner suite overlooking the city, valet hotel services at her disposal, and an all-expense paid credit card to do with as she pleased. While she seemed to enjoy herself the turmoil better known as her marriage never strayed far from her mind. In fact, it never left her mind at all.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!
Hey SKUNKPU80,
This chapter was worth the long waiting.
It was very funny, had to laugh about Bette and Shane.
I hope you will not break up my favourite couple B&T, they need to talk and then a long sweaty make up session ????
I hope you have a safe and great Halloween.
