Bette: Who are they to stop you?

Shane: Her wife and kids.

Bette: [a shocked expression appeared on her face] What the hell?

Shane: Don’t judge me.

Bette: I need a drink like an iv bag filled with Vodka, Bleach, and WB40 flowing straight into my veins type of drink.

Shane: [cutting her off] Enough about me so how are you and Tina? Have you two made up yet?

Bette: No.

Shane: Why not!?

Bette: Uh, well because I rather make up with my wife in person rather than over the phone.

Shane: Huh?

Bette: Well, you know true to form I was being an ass went home to apologize and found a note she left letting me know she had flown to Atlanta for business.

Shane: What’s in Atlanta?

Bette: [turns to face her] Why are you acting like this is the first time you’re hearing about this Kit can’t hold water I know she’s already told you and half the city by now.

Shane: She told me five days ago.

Bette: [rolled her eyes]

Shane: Well, I mean at least you know why she can’t go overseas with you.

Bette: I would never ask her to give up on her dreams just like she would never ask the same from me, it’s just I wish she would have told me about her plan to open up her own production studio sooner. I hate not knowing what she’s thinking or feeling.

Shane: Well, from what I heard she—–.

Bette: [scowls at her]

Shane: [clearing her throat] Okay, Kit told me another producer that also quit just sprung the idea on her and you know opportunity presented itself and she took it.

Bette: I understand that but in the middle of a fight!?

Shane: Look, she flies back in two days you guys can make up then.

Bette: It’s not the making up part I’m afraid of.

Shane: [phone rings she looks down at it ignoring the call] You guys will be fine.

Bette: Aren’t you going to answer that?

Shane: It’s someone I don’t want to talk to you.

Bette: Like, who Bellpepper?

Shane: [smiling] Her name is Pumpkin.

Bette: Then why have her number in your phone?

Shane: I like to keep some people numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
