    Hey come in. Have a seat. You hungry? You need something to drink? I was about to make us a sandwich. You want one? Tina asks. Uhmm yeah sure. They walk into the kitchen. Bette has him to sit and grabs them all a beer while Tina starts on the sandwiches. Thanks. He says as

    Uhmm yeah sure. They walk into the kitchen. Bette has him to sit and grabs them all a beer while Tina starts on the sandwiches.

    Thanks. He says as Bette hands him one. Bette lays Tina’s beer on the counter beside her. They give each other a look like they neither one knew what was up with him.

    So Jeffery everything is ok back home? Tina asks softly while handing him the first sandwich.

    Yeah everything is fine. I left on a red eye last night. I probably should have called first to let you know I was coming but you know me. When I get something in my head I have to get to it.

    Tina and Bette look at each other still not understanding. Tina hands Bette her sandwich and they both turn and sit across from his.

    Tina speaks first. Jeffery had already eaten half of his sandwich. Idea?

    He looks up at both of them and lays his sandwich down. Bette takes a bite of hers. Yeah well I was there when you guys called mom. Bette and Tina looked at each other and then back at him. Uhmm. Bette goes to take a swig of beer. Iwanttobeyourdonor. He says real fast and then takes another bite of his sandwich before looking away. Bette spits some of her beer out and gets choked causing Tina to get up and pat her on the back. Bette put her hand up signifying she was fine.

    You want to what? Bette was making sure she heard right. Tina was rubbing Bette’s back and was beaming looking over at her little brother because she had thought about asking one of her brothers. She even thought maybe Tom but she had not voiced her thoughts to Bette.

    Jeffery looks at Bette to speak then looks at Tina. He smiles that Kennard smile. I want to do this for you guys. You’re my sisters and I love you. And I am the most obvious choice. Tina and I are like twins. The baby would look like the both of you.

    Bette looks back and forth between the siblings as if it was an unspoken language between them. They were both smiling. Tina was glowing. She watches Tina as she moves around the counter to hug him. He stood and picked her up off the floor.

          I’ve been in sole Lockdown here in UK since last March and only seen my little Great Granddaughter a couple of times
