Kit: “how?”
Tina: “yesterday we went to the bank to inspect the place and leave a couple of surprises, one was a smoke generator and the other a stinky bomb close to the emergency door, so, only a few persons would leave through that door, facilitating the escape of the girls”
Bette: “yes, because Tina and I left by the main door”
Kit: “and you already told Alice and Louise to wait outside”
Bette: “yup, that’s right”
Kit: “that was very risky, what could happen if the supervisor had called Aaron?”
Bette: “Sharon was already prepared; we had hacked in Aaron’s office phone, and she was going to answer any call from the bank”
Kit: “and how is that Melvin asked Aaron to go to the central building?”
Bette: “Tasha gave him some pictures of the guys who set the explosive in my parking place and he recognized someone, who led to Aaron, but we didn’t know Melvin would call Aaron today”
Kit: “hmm, so, it was Aaron the one behind the attempt”
Bette: “we don’t know but apparently was him”
Tina: “according to Alice and Helena there was also a woman outside of the police station”
Kit: “oh, yes I remembered”
Bette: “maybe Melvin will catch the woman too”
Kit: “we don’t know, but we have to be careful…, now he will find out that someone stole the documents in Aaron’s vault”
Bette: “I hope he’ll be convinced it was Aaron alone… we left false clues”
Kit: “really?”
Tina: “yeah, in the letter and in Lower Manhattan”
They stopped talking when Peggy came back.
Peggy: “well those papers will be my work for the rest of the week; I should call Joyce to help me with the criminal part, now we all go to have lunch”
Bette: “I hope they have left something for us”
Peggy: “don’t worry; I saved the best for us, now you are going to tell me the details of your adventure”
In the dining room, Bette and Tina mixed with the rest of the girls.
Alice: “tell me, Bette, now that you can’t go back to your apartment, where are you staying?”
Bette: “in my beach house… why?”
Alice: “that place is very lonely”
Bette: “oh, don’t worry, Al, I’m fine”

Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!
This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.
Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.
This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.
Hi Martha:
Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.
Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!
I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.
Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.
