    B.I.T.C.H. Chapter 19: FOR A FEW SECONDS

Alice: (looking at Tina) “yes, I guess, you’re fine”

Shane: (interrupting) “what do we do now?”

Bette: “go back to work, but tomorrow evening we’ll have a campfire and grilled meats in my beach house, and not a word to anybody”

SoHo – Manhattan Bank – Thursday afternoon – Supervisor office

Melvin Porter and Franklin Philips are waiting outside the supervisor’s office, while Aaron and William Wentworth are talking with the man inside the office.

Aaron: “Simon, I never sent a letter to withdraw anything from the vault”

Supervisor: “here is the letter, isn’t it, your signature?”

Aaron saw the letter and the signature there, it looked exactly as his; the name in the authorized to pick up the documents was Emily Kornblunth, someone who Aaron didn’t know, but she introduced to the supervisor of the bank as Aaron’s sister. William looked amazed.

Aaron: “I don’t know this person”

Supervisor: “we have a copy of her ID; do you want to see it?”

Aaron: “sure but I repeat, I don’t know that person”

William: “may you please show us the copy of the ID?”

The supervisor, Simon, gave them a copy of the ID, for some reason, it didn’t look like the one Shane gave them early, the original picture of Shane has “disintegrated” and now there is another face is in the picture.

Supervisor: “can you recognize this person?”

Aaron: “it looks like my sister but her name is Emma no Emily and she’s in Europe”

William: “thank you, Simon, it’s all we wanted to know”

They left the office to meet Melvin and Franklin outside.

    Melvin: “well?”

William: “it looks like Aaron has a lot to explain us”

Aaron: (almost crying) “I don’t know anything about that Emily, my sister’s name is Emma and she’s in Europe, you have to believe me”

Melvin: “shut the fuck, stupid piece of trash”

The four men left the bank, two of Melvin guards escorted them to the limousine that rushed to unknown direction.

Melvin: “okay, Aaron, I want my contract, my titles, and the other documents”

Aaron: “but I don’t have them”

Franklin: “you better tell us where you moved them because it’s going to be painful”

    2. Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!

This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.

Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.

This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.

      • Hi Martha:

Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.

Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Thank you for reading and commenting.

    3. Hi proteonomics,

      What a fantastic chapter!

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!

I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.

Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.

      Please update asap!

      • Hi Bibi:

I’m glad you like the chapter.

Yes, Tina should stay in the closet, but who is going to help her?

The good thing is that Bette is on her way to her office.

I believe that Aaron will survive, he is receiving a dose of his own concoction.

I hope to post soon the next chapter.

Thanks, my friend for reading and commenting.
