A smiling Bette and a blushed Tina have got off from the elevator, they are returning to their offices finding Jodi in the lobby, as soon as the couple arrived, Bette’s ex stood up.
Jodi: “Bette, where have you been? I was looking for you”
The smile vanished from the brunette face changing into annoy and disgust, she turned toward Tina with an apology look, the blonde smiled and went to her office.
Bette: “what do you want, Jodi?”
Jodi: (following Tina with her eyes) “just visiting”
Bette: “not a good time, I’m very busy”
Jodi: “Bette, Bette, always so kind…”
Bette: “okay, if you need something, just tell Maryann and she will let me know”
Jodi: “come on, Bette, I need something that she can’t give me…, only you could”
Bette: (smiling sarcastically) “sorry, I can’t”
Jodi changes her manners to more aggressive.
Jodi: “oh no, you can’t send me away…, I see that you have a new toy, young, fresh and slut as you like them”
Bette becomes serious and angry; she’s trying to control herself and no slap Jodi in her face.
Bette: “I’m busy, Maryann, please take Jodi’s message and bring me it later”
Jodi: (grabbing Bette’s arm) “hey, I just want a quickie”
Bette: (strongly slamming her arm) “what the fuck! Don’t you have work to do?”
The brunette entered her office locking her door carefully; she walked to the other end of the room and opened the door to Tina’s. The blonde sees her girlfriend disturbed and go toward her
Tina: “hey, baby, what’s wrong?”
Bette didn’t answer; she jumps into her girlfriend’s arms and hugs her tight.
Tina: “I’m here for you, always be, honey”
Bette: “I hate myself”
Tina: “why?”
Bette: “how could I get entangled with those women?”
Softly dragging Bette to the sofa, the blonde sits her at her side.
Tina: “do you wanna talk about that?”
Bette: “I can’t understand how all these years I fell so low…, I missed you very much, Tina, and I was mad and angry because I thought you left me for a man, I looked for you in every girl I met, and I was so angry that at the end I only wanted sex, most of the girls I was with wanted me to fuck them, but a few other were sincere, and had feelings for me, I’m very sorry I hurt some of them; it was all my fault, my insecurity…, why didn’t I tell you the truth about my mom, then, things would be different now”

Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!
This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.
Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.
This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.

Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.
Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!
I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.
Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.
