Tina: “who knows, Bette, perhaps it would end in the same way or worse”
Bette: (moving away and looking at Tina’s eyes) “what do you mean?”
Tina: “look, baby, I love your mom very much, as if she were my own, now that I know the truth about you, me, her and Louise, I have been asking myself how all that happened…, do you know what your mom does there?”
Bette: “she’s a lawyer, I heard that she protect women and children against human trafficking, she travels through borders between those two countries, and she has friends in humanitarian organizations”
Tina: “do you know how your mom got there?”
Bette: “no, only that she wasn’t alone, my aunts and father were with her”
Tina: “my real mother isn’t your aunt and she was there with my father”
Bette: “I believe they all were friends”
Tina: “Bette, you know that your mom had girlfriends”
Bette: “I suppose, she’s a lesbian”
Tina: “one day she was talking with one of her ex”
Bette: “wait, wait, how you know it was her ex”
Tina: (blushing) “okay…, when I was a teen I was very curious, Maxine had beautiful girlfriends and I like to see them, sometimes even heard their conversations”
Bette: (amused and smiling) “you were snooping on my mom’s business?”
Tina: “no…, don’t take me wrong, I was just curious and sometimes I had insomnia”
Bette: “yeah, you were prying on her things”
Tina: “Bette…, okay, but it was unintentionally”
Bette: (almost laughing) “fine whatever you say, baby”
Tina: “well, one night I heard Maxine telling to an American lady, that she didn’t want me to study college there, but she couldn’t send me out of the country being underage, she also told her that she missed very much her daughter who was in the USA, but she had to keep her child far from her for her safety”
Bette: “really…, I knew that mom loves me, I miss her very much, we chat every week, we always did since I came back from South America”
Tina: “yeah, I do the same, but the point is that even if we would know then who we were, I don’t think we would be girlfriends all these past years”

Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!
This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.
Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.
This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.
Hi Martha:
Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.
Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!
I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.
Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.
