Kit: Pushing me and shoving into love, love, love
Before Kit even realized it, the guitar playing had stopped and Angus was standing in front of her. Taking a step forward and slightly parted her legs so he stood between them. She was wearing tight jeans with ankle boots and rested her feet on the rungs.
Angus looked deeply into her eyes and seeing what he was hoping for took a chance. He placed his hands on her thighs and kissed her lips with a light touch. When she doesn’t push him away it emboldened even further. Moving closer he used his tongue and parted her lips. This time he kissed her with gusto and smiled into the kiss when he felt her bring her arms up around his neck pulling him in. They make out for a few minutes then part to catch a breath. Kit was no doubt lost in the moment. She liked the way he tasted, and the smell of his cologne and how his scruffy beard scratched a little. She wanted to kiss him again, but her good sense took over. With her hands on his shoulder she gently pushed him away.
Standing at his full height and with her still sitting she’s forced to look up to meet his gaze. Not for the first time she notices how his pale blue eyes twinkle when he smiles, and how attractive she finds his scruffy unshaven disheveled look.
“What are we doing? I’m old enough to be your mother.” She chastised using the same old argument.
“My grandmother” he teases “but I don’t care.”
“We can’t do this Angus.”
“Would you mind telling me why?” He asked returning to his perch on the other stool.
“Because it’s not right, and you know it’s not right.”
“I don’t know Kit. That kiss felt really right to me.”
“What do you know. You’re a child.” She sighs. “A very attractive child, but still a child.”
“Let’s see … Leni Riefenstahl, Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, Joan Collins…
At first Kit was lost, not sure why Angus was reciting these names, then she realized they were all known women who had been involved with younger men. He was obviously prepared to make his case. He continued “Mary Kay Letourneau, Fran Drescher …”

Oh, I always liked Kit with Angus….menopause! Oh, yea…..I remember it well. The hot flashes particularly…the heat starts deep in your core and the spreads through your body like a volcanic eruptions – last a few minutes and you sitting there wondering where the hell did that come from? After two or three you realize what is happening.
Nice chapter…. romance between Melvin and Peggy? Wow…who knew? I was wondering who you would have escort Tina down the isle. Good choice!

May i ask you about Kit and Angus – really? Don’t you think that age difference between them too large? How much – 20-25 years? And with older woman and younger man (we know that in generally men have more sexual relationship, than women.) So 30 years man and 55 years woman – i just can’t see them in long period.
According to this story its 15 years….Once you are an adult, I think that is up to you who you want to date. Will there be problems? More than likely but in this case, its the younger person going after the older one. I have a lot more problem with older folks trying to entice younger ones. That to me feels like one cannot accept their age and want a sweet young thing. At least they are not hiding anything from each other. So if both are willing, why not!
Maybe in this story Angus 40 or nearly years old than.
In TLW i must say their story – it’s one of most believable story in this show for me (usually relationship like this ended with younger half cheated with person their age)
Menopause in most women happens in their late 40s and early 50s. For me it was age 50. So that would make Angus 35? So when Kit is 65, Angus will be 50. When Kit is 75, Angus will be 60. And when Kit passes on, Angus will still be able to marry again.
In love, there are always risk that it will not turn out the way you would like. But if you see the risk as being worthwhile, then you go for it. For you never know, it could just work out!
