    (Tina) That’s a difficult question to answer at the moment Kit Kit nods and raises her eyebrows. (Kit) Yeah. I can’t imagine what this is all like for you Tina smiles pensively as she pours their coffees. (Kit) It looks from here like you’re handling it, but it’s got to be tough taking all this

    (Tina) That’s a difficult question to answer at the moment Kit

    Kit nods and raises her eyebrows.

    (Kit) Yeah. I can’t imagine what this is all like for you

    Tina smiles pensively as she pours their coffees.

    (Kit) It looks from here like you’re handling it, but it’s got to be tough taking all this in. Everything with Bette

    She gestures towards the stairs.

    (Kit) And Angie

    Tina sighs and gives her a small smile as she slides Kit’s coffee over to her.

    (Tina) Yes, it is. But I’ve just had to find a way to accept the craziness of it all. I’m just enjoying spending time with them

    Tina shrugs and Kit smiles at her.

    (Kit) Well it seems like Bette is enjoying it too

    They share a smile as Tina takes a seat opposite her.

    (Tina) You seemed pretty shocked when you saw us together at the Planet

    (Kit nods) Ah, yeah. It was a big shock

    Kit laughs and they smile at each other.

    (Kit) It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you carrying on like that

    Tina smiles and has a sip of coffee.

    (Kit) And I know this is all crazy complicated, but I’ll admit I kind of like seeing you two together again

    She shrugs.

    (Kit) I haven’t seen Bette this happy in God knows how long

    Tina nods and looks down to her coffee.

    (Kit) I’m not planning on asking you much about what’s going on there by the way

    Kit raises both of her hands.

    (Kit) I don’t need details

    (Tina smiles) OK

    They sit in silence for a while, both sipping their coffees.

    (Kit) And Bette tells me you haven’t wanted to know anything about what went on back then?

    Tina shakes her head and again looks to her coffee.

    (Tina) No, I’m really just trying to keep it together, and take things in my stride as much as I can

    She looks back to Kit.

    (Tina) That has just seemed like too much to handle

    Kit nods as she has a sip of coffee.

    (Tina) I was surprised when I found out how long ago we separated though. That things are still so hostile between us after all this time

    Kit sighs and nods.

    1. I’ve been waiting for this part of the story… Of what happened to them. i love the slow build. Not rushed at all, i love how you make Tina have a personal conversation with everybody and opens and close certain topics. All bases getting attention. Always looking forward to new chapters! After the release of ep2 of GenQ, gosh aren’t we all getting hung up on this great love story?

        . . . . What happened??? Totally agree with Hanna’s assessment

    2. Wow… the question “Does she?” Meaning does the current day Tina deserve to be treated harshly? And the key word is deserve… This may be the conversation which brings Tina back to the present day. This may be the necessary conversation which Bette needs to motivate her (Bette) to seek a solution rather than to perpetuate the continued present environment and relationship. In the beginning before this memory loss happened, Tina appeared to want to have a conversation with Bette to change their relationship to a less hostile relationship. But Bette did respond positively to Tina. Bette is angry about something and has built walls that Tina could not breach. This is going to be an interesting conversation…

      Thank you for the chapter…. we are edging closer to know what has put Bette and Tina into such a hostile relationship of the present… I hope that they all come out better people as a result… but I see that both Bette and Tina are probably going to suffer some pain and anguish as a result. I hope not… but the time seems ripe for everyone to face what the situation is. You cannot fix that which you do not know is broken.

      Look forward to the next chapter.

      It certainly look likes Bette blames Tina for what happened back then and still is very angry about it.

      So looking forward to their conversation. Or maybe not because my heart will break.

    5. Thanks for posting. We really appreciate your time and hard work in keeping us entertained. Just speculating. Who is Renee? What was her relationship with Tina? She acted as if they had more than a friendship. Am I warm? PPS
