    (Kit) Yeah They look at each other for a moment. (Kit) Got a glimpse of that did you? Tina nods. (Tina) When I first spoke to her. I called her at work and she didn’t yet know what was going on, and she was so awful to me (Kit sighs) I know Tina looks at

    (Kit) Yeah

    They look at each other for a moment.

    (Kit sighs) I know

    Tina looks at her.

    (Tina) And it’s never gotten any better? Even after all this time?

    (Kit sighs) Nope, it certainly hasn’t

    (Tina) I just thought these situations would tend to improve over time. As wounds maybe heal

    Kit shrugs.

    (Kit) It’s because you’re still in love with each other

    Tina raises her eyebrows and looks at her for a long moment.

    (Tina) I keep hearing that. Is that really what you think?

    (Kit nods) It is

    (Tina) Both of us?

    (Kit nods) Mmmhmm

    Tina looks at her and Kit shrugs.

    (Kit) We all think it

    Tina looks down at her coffee, gathering her thoughts.

    (Kit) And I don’t know how much it’s to do with wounds not healing really

    (Tina frowns) What do you mean?

    (Kit sighs) I don’t think it’s that either of you are really hung up on what happened. I haven’t heard you talk about all of that in years. The anger is something else

    Tina looks at her as she takes this in.

    (Tina) What then?

    (Kit) Well, I think that’s a conversation the two of you need to have

    She sighs.

    (Kit) I’ve thought that for a long time but there’s just no way you ever would

    Kit shrugs and has a sip of coffee, and Tina watches her.

    (Tina) Well, maybe I can help them with that

     

    That evening, Bette, Tina, Alice, Shane and Dana are at the Planet having a drink. They sit at a usual table and chat away comfortably with one another.

    (Alice) So, how was breakfast with Kit?

    Tina smiles.

    (Tina) It was great, I loved seeing her

    She looks to Bette.

    (Tina) She’s doing so well

    Bette smiles at her and Tina smiles back as she places her hand on Bette’s thigh.

    (Tina) You must be so proud of her

    (Bette nods) I am. And I’m really glad you had a chance to all spend time together

    1. I’ve been waiting for this part of the story… Of what happened to them. i love the slow build. Not rushed at all, i love how you make Tina have a personal conversation with everybody and opens and close certain topics. All bases getting attention. Always looking forward to new chapters! After the release of ep2 of GenQ, gosh aren’t we all getting hung up on this great love story?

        . . . . What happened??? Totally agree with Hanna’s assessment

    2. Wow… the question “Does she?” Meaning does the current day Tina deserve to be treated harshly? And the key word is deserve… This may be the conversation which brings Tina back to the present day. This may be the necessary conversation which Bette needs to motivate her (Bette) to seek a solution rather than to perpetuate the continued present environment and relationship. In the beginning before this memory loss happened, Tina appeared to want to have a conversation with Bette to change their relationship to a less hostile relationship. But Bette did respond positively to Tina. Bette is angry about something and has built walls that Tina could not breach. This is going to be an interesting conversation…

      Thank you for the chapter…. we are edging closer to know what has put Bette and Tina into such a hostile relationship of the present… I hope that they all come out better people as a result… but I see that both Bette and Tina are probably going to suffer some pain and anguish as a result. I hope not… but the time seems ripe for everyone to face what the situation is. You cannot fix that which you do not know is broken.

      Look forward to the next chapter.

      It certainly look likes Bette blames Tina for what happened back then and still is very angry about it.

      So looking forward to their conversation. Or maybe not because my heart will break.

    5. Thanks for posting. We really appreciate your time and hard work in keeping us entertained. Just speculating. Who is Renee? What was her relationship with Tina? She acted as if they had more than a friendship. Am I warm? PPS
