Tina decided that next week, that would be her number one priority for her personal life – do whatever was necessary to help Mary establish her residency. Her second priority was to organize Thanksgiving and Christmas for the family which meant – schedules, food, and social calendar for the family. Her third priority was the organizing of the trip to Scotland. She would see if Bette was okay with inviting Joe, Barbara and Joey over for dinner on Sunday evening. They would broach the subject of John David going to Scotland with them next summer.

Bette got the telephone call from Tina while she was in class. Holly took the message and assured her that she would make sure Bette got it prior to leaving for the afternoon. Holly then had a rather pleasant conversation with Tina. Holly liked working for Bette and she knew how dedicated Bette was to her family. She had met Tina a couple of times and had one evening in a social occasion with her. Holly admired the couple as she thought they were the perfect example of people who were successful in their professions but were dedicated to giving their children as well rounded an education as possible. And the fact that Bette established right off the bat that Holly needed time to be involved in her own children’s lives elevated her status in Holly’s life.

Bette sent some emails to George and Grace on the following weeks schedule and expectations it would be test week again. And the following week, the papers from the under graduate students were due.  Bette then posted a reminder on the class website on the test and paper due dates.

The classes for the day went well for Bette. When she came back to her office after the afternoon class, she returned the call to Tina.  She agreed that having the Wilkins over for Sunday dinner was a good idea. They could take John David home after dinner.

Bette arrived home at 3:45. She went in and kissed Tina and then went upstairs and quickly packed her bag for the weekend. She then undressed to her panties and bra and crawled into bed for a nap. She hoped to sleep an hour or so and then get up and shower and dress and then be ready for the car which would arrive at 6:00 pm.
