     Chapter 23 – The Wedding

Bette:  Yes, we are too sweety. They are going to be very happy together. Angie thank you for taking the flowers to Tina. I appreciate it more than you know.  I need to find Daniel and thank him for his help as well.

Angie:  I think he’s hanging out with Uncle Sonny. Did you notice that they are dressed exactly alike?  Black suit, white shirt and burgundy ties?

Tina:  Must be a family thing. Come on girls, let’s go get our picture made for Paris and Jeanette’s wedding album.

They went and found the photographer and posed for a group photo of the four of them. Bette suggested that Daniel be photograph with is Uncle Sonny. The photographer agreed and went about making several photos.  A server came by with some wine and all four grabbed a glass off the tray.  Bobbie and Shane walked up and began a conversation with Angie and Suzanne. Bette went off to find Kit and Tina headed to talk to James and Lisa. Alice and Lynn were talking to Helena and Dylan.  There were several of Jeanettes’ teacher friends at the reception as well as the LA Lesbians. Jordan and Shay were both there with their dates making the rounds. Angie and Suzanne made sure that they got an introduction to their dates and discussed the social events going on in the LA area and the fact that Monday would be a return to everyday life after a long holiday. Dylan made her way to Tina and started a conversation.

Dylan: Hey Tina, how are you doing?

Tina:  I’m great Dylan. I’ve had a rather busy week with Angie home. But I have had a lot of fun. It has been good to have her and Suzanne at the house this week.

Dylan:  Well, I see that Mary and Margaret are getting rather friendly. I thought they were both straight.

Tina:  Well Dylan, we were all straight at some point in our lives. They have decided that they are in love with each other and they want to be a couple. And if that is what will make their lives better, then they should go for it.

Dylan:  They are cute together. Reminds me of Peggy and Marilyn. Nothing like love to bring a smile to your face.
