     Chapter 23 – The Wedding

Tina:  Yes, and we all want and deserve a person to love and who loves us just as much. How are you and Helena doing.  I know you two have been traveling a lot.

Dylan:  We are doing well. With Christmas and into the winter we plan to slow down our travel until spring. We may have a couple of trips up to the San Francisco area an into the wine country, but not much more. I think we are almost ready to ink a deal on a winery and vineyard. And we have sold Peggy’s property in the Virgin Islands. There is no need to have two properties in the Caribbean unless it has commercial possibilities.

Tina: So, you two are going to own a wine vineyard. That sounds interesting.

Dylan:  Yes, we hope that this will be a similar setup as the inn in Scotland. We want a running business that has tourist appeal and near other tourist attractions yet in a secluded area to get out of the normal day to day life. A place where a person can have some different experiences and yet get some peace and calm and a relaxing atmosphere. I think we can charge a premium for those things and make some good money.

Tina:  I know that I would pay a premium to get some of that. At least I would have when I was working for the studio.

Dylan:  You know, you have blown Helena out of the water with that portrait of Peggy, don’t you.  She spent hours just starring at it yesterday – just mesmerized by it. She has decided to hang it here in Malibu. It’s going in our family sitting room. She says with the portrait, she feels a new closeness with her mother that she wasn’t aware of until she brought that portrait home. It is as if her mother is more present now than she has been since she died. And Helena is loving that feeling. Thank you for doing this for Helena. It’s a huge gift.  Marilyn loves it too. Marilyn literally wept when she saw it.

Tina:  I know that Marilyn and Peggy were extremely close.

Dylan:  I believe it is going to bring Marilyn to visit us more often. And for that I am grateful.
