Tina kissed Bette’s cheek. ‘I love you’
‘I love you too T.’
Just when Bette got lost in the intimate environment the two just created Tina’s phone rang once again.
‘Hey baby,’ She answered. ‘No, I’m out with Bette…. Come on babe, I don’t spend all my time with her. Of course I miss you too.. Tonight? I don’t know, it’s Saturday, we always meet at the planet on saturdays. Of course you can come… Babe, don’t call them that. Jenny will be there, maybe she’ll bring Tim… Okay, well, let me know… Yeah, love you too. Of course I won’t make it too late then…. No, I promise I’ll wake you up the way you like.’ The blonde grinned and the brunette unconsciously let the blonde out of her hands and moved away a bit.
*The Planet*
The gang was sitting at a table in the corner where the music wasn’t too loud and they still could talk without having to yell at each other. Everyone was present except for Tina and Henry. The group knew Tina always said she’d be there, but the last couple of months Henry and Tina had been fighting a lot more, and definitely when Tina wanted to spend her Saturdays with her friends. Henry didn’t want to party anymore, he wanted to act as an adult he said; go to dinner, hang out on their couch, but Tina felt as a 29 year old that she was still allowed to party. And, considering Henry didn’t like it when she hung out with her friends during the week, she said he at least should let her decide what she did on the weekend. The group had found those rules ridiculous, Tina had always been such a free spirit, waiting for adventure, no one ever thought that the blonde would ever let her partner, or anyone else, make decisions for her.
‘So you talked to her yet?’ Dana threw in the group looking at Bette.
‘Have you talked to her about Henry?’
‘No.’ Bette said, looking away again. She didn’t want to talk about Tina and Henry right now, not that she ever really wanted to talk about the two of them, but tonight she was actually in the mood to have a good time. She needed a good night.

Tina??? OMG… is she that self-centered??? She does not know that she is purposely making sexual moves with only the intent of keeping Bette for herself… but as a close personal friend??? She’s too much… I’m surprised that someone hasn’t brought this to her attention long ago… Age 29 and she completed college at 22? And even high school age is more considerate than this….

Crazy right, but Tina is ‘getting. receiving’ her wake up call in the next (couple of) chapter(s). She needed to be waken up a bit and let go of her naive being.

Oh oh Tina,
You don’t want to lose Bette but playing with her that way and thinking it’s something innocent and that Bette was getting used to her touches because Tina is such an affectionated person.

I didn’t like Jodie that much either in the OG, so I changed her a bit to a more loving woman. I felt like in the OG, she wanted Bette to change too much, I think they had much more potential.
