Chapter 32 – More Packing
Tina: Why don’t we dress and go to a Thai restaurant tonight. Angie loves Thai. And Friday, why don’t we go to a pizzeria and have some New York style pizza.
Bette: I wanted to go to pizza place while we are in New Haven.
Tina: Bette, before the end of September, Angie will know where every pizza place is within a 25-mile radius of her dorm. We are going to find place where we can get some non-student diet food. Preferably someplace which has a wait staff to bring the food to us. It’s not going to be an easy morning.
Bette: Yeah, you right. Okay, we should have pizza sometime this week. You can’t be in New York and not have New York style pizza.
Tina: Well, we could have a couple delivered tomorrow for lunch. But what about tonight?
Bette: Oh, I know. Let’s go to eat Thai tonight at Thai Villa in Gramercy Park. We will take two cabs. And Friday, we will go to that Italian restaurant on 45th Street. It’s close. It Trattoria Tre Colori. And Thursday, we go to a French restaurant.
Tina: So, you want pizza for lunch tomorrow?
Bette: Sounds good to me. Here we are. This food smells so good. Let’s get upstairs.
Bette and Tina exited and thanked the driver and then headed for the elevator. They entered the kitchen and began to set the table with flat wear and napkins and bring out some bottles of tea and water. Tina yelled that lunch was on. Everyone had a salad and a large tin of food.
Mary: Smells good. What have we got?
Daniel: Spaghetti and a salad. Wow. And lots of it.
Angie: Wow, looks good.
Tina: Eat while it’s hot. We got Italian dressing for everyone. Oh, and here is some bread to go with it.
Mary: This is wonderful. Taste so good.
The family enjoyed their meal and caught up on the progress made so far. Bette gave them the news that they would be joining Marilyn for dinner on Wednesday night. She also told them that tonight, they would go to Thai Villa for dinner in Gramercy Park. And since so much progress had been made, they would not work after their nap until tomorrow. And they would follow the same schedule tomorrow as today. Marilyn was sending the car to pick them up at 6:30.
