Bette: I want a huge salad with some chicken. And a beer.

Tina: Really, I have the stuff to do that here. We don’t have to go out or order. Come on, let’s do it. Go find the chick strips. Should be in the freezer. Let’s cook them in the air fryer. I have to salad pre-mix. Just add a few tomatoes, some cheese, some walnuts, and a few croutons, and there you go. A salad.  There are all kinds of salad dressing in the fridge.

Bette: Wow, this looks really good. Oh, and we have some Corona or a Samuel Adams?

Tina: A Corona. I want to get a few of our boxes emptied. Tomorrow, we need to work on Angie’s room and the kid’s lounge. I bet you not one lamp was unpacked, was it?

Bette: That and the bathroom stuff. I don’t think we are going to finish by tomorrow night.

Tina:  Well, we do what we can do.  Where would you like to eat?

Bette: The patio. It feels so good to eat out there. It is truly relaxing. Hey, maybe we can go skinny dipping tonight. Daniel’s not here.

Tina:  You have enough energy to think about swimming?

Bette: I have enough energy to think about my woman naked in the pool. We may not have that many opportunities until Daniel goes to college.

Tina: You have a point. The fence around the yard is good for privacy.  Let’s see what we can get done and then see how we feel. We need to try out that steam shower as well.

Bette: I promise you, we are going to sleep like babies tonight.

Tina:  Gosh, this salad really hits the spot… I think I was needing some vegetables.

Bette: I am liking this house. And I am really liking just allowing Jim to select the furnishings we are going to buy. I think he really gets what we like and who we are.

Tina:  I’m sure he does. This is probably a big job for him. He’s only furnishing half the house and yet it probably the same number of rooms as an average home.

Bette:  Yeah, four bedrooms, half a dining room, four sitting rooms, and a pool table. Oh, and a study and a huge patio.
