Bette:  Angie, it may take years to find this person. You may not find that person at college. You may be like your mom and me and not find each other until many years after you have left college.   The old saying is that in order to find your prince or princess, you may have to kiss a lot of frogs.  And that is what you will be doing until you find that one special person for you.  And when you are in that process of kissing frogs, there is always a chance that you will get your heart broken. But you will heal and you will go on. And you will try again to find that special one that is your soul mate.  In the meantime, with every frog you kiss, you will get wiser. You will learn from your mistakes and what you want to avoid. There is nothing like experience of failure to make you smarter.

Tina:  Angie, you are a highly intelligent, lovely young woman with skills that your moms never dreamed of at your age. You have a long and wonderful life ahead of you with opportunities and experiences which will be for the most part very rewarding. But there will be a few which will be not so enjoyable. That’s what life is. We are here for you for your victories and your losses. We have a closet full of pom-poms ready and waiting to cheer you on. But we also have shoulders for you to cry on when that is what you need. We love you so much.  There isn’t much we won’t do for you as long as it is in your best interest and helps you to become the woman you want to be.

Angie had tears streaming down her cheeks. She could feel the love her two moms had for her and she felt like the luckiest person in the world.

Tina:  Wow… I guess since I am the one who has had more relationships with men. I’ll start.  Men and women are wired completely differently. They are both a product of evolution and of the society expectations and their environment in which they were raised. Men approach their role in life differently than women generally.  Men approach relationships and sex differently than women do. So, let me get into a little detail.
