Dylan:  Helena has spoken!

Tina:  That is most gracious of you Helena. Thank you.

The meal continued and the conversation continued and they were all having a pleasant time. After dinner, Dylan showed Daniel and Angie to the theatre room and set up a movie for them to watch.

Bette and Tina joined Helena in the lounge and enjoy an after-dinner liqueur.  Bette choose a Drambuie and Tina wanted a white Russian. Helena talked to Bette and Tina about the Peabody Foundation and the other dealings she and Dylan had going on in England. They talked about buying some vacation property which they would rent to the public and how they may want to look for some on the east coast as well as California. They also talked about getting some private homes in various places. However, they were still trying to make decisions about the vacation homes they had inherited from Peggy.  They wanted to decide if they should sell some of those or some they own personally.  They simply did not need two different vacation homes in the Caribbean but they definitely wanted to keep the apartment which Peggy owned in Paris. Dylan suggested that perhaps maybe the group would like to have a week in one of those vacation homes next year instead of California.  Tina suggested maybe something different entirely like a farm house in Scotland or Ireland or maybe a lodge in mountains with hiking trails and a lake for fishing, swimming and canoeing. Tina pointed out that the objective was to enjoy each other’s company and to enjoy the activities which were not in their normal routines. Dylan really liked the idea of a mountain vacation. And Bette was enthusiastic about it as well. Helena was fine with as long as they had staff to do the cooking and cleaning and that they were not in danger of being eaten by the wild life.

Tina had already volunteer to check into the next years vacation. She would get on the possibilities as soon as she returned from New York. She had hoped that her to do list would be limited to just a few items with the house search as being the highest priority.

The children finished their movie and came into the lounge to be with their parents.  Bette and Tina were ready to retire for the night.  So, Helena and Dylan showed their guest to their rooms which had their night clothes laying on their beds and the bathrooms having guest bath kits for their convenience. The family said good night to one another and then thank their hostesses for a lovely evening and meal and retired to their rooms.
