Angie:  It was great.  I got my learner’s permit.  That was a burden lifted off my shoulders.

Dylan:  You didn’t have any doubts about that did you?

Angie:  I was prepared, but you never know when it comes to test.  I’m always nervous until I get the results.

Daniel:  Yeah, and we went to the bank to get bank accounts. That was exciting.

Dylan:  Really?  Are you getting an account Daniel?

Daniel:  Yep, my very first bank account!

Dylan:  That’s great Daniel.

Tina:  Well in this day and time, we need a way to get the kids money without obtaining cash all the time. So, Daniel and Angie are getting debit cards for incidental expenses. Angie will definitely need one when she gets to New Haven. We need a way to get her money quickly and efficiently so she can live comfortably.

Bette:  Yeah, I wish there had been debit cards when I was in school.  There would have been a few less conversations with dear sweet Melvin.

Helena walked in and greeted the family. She hugged Tina and then Bette. She then went over and hugged Angie and Daniel.

Helena:  Well, I see you made it.  Welcome to Malibu.  Are you guys doing? Okay? Can we get you guys something to drink?

Bette:  That sounds good. What do you recommend?

Helena:  Well, we have a nice rum punch – both and alcoholic and a non-alcoholic version?

Tina:  That sounds really good.  I would love to have one. Perhaps the adult version?

Bette:  I take the same and how about the other version for Angie and Dan.

Angie and Dan were out wandering in the yard looking out over the bluff to the ocean. The view was spectacular.

Helena:  So, did everything go okay today?

Bette:  Really well.  We got all our drivers licenses sorted out and we got our bank accounts as well. You will be receiving them in the mail in about 10 days.

Helena:  Well, we will let Jane know so she can forward them to you as soon as they get here. We will probably be in New York or perhaps in London.

The drinks arrive delivered by a butler. The kids returned to get their drinks.  They were impressed with the flavor. Dylan offered to provide Angie and Daniel swim suits if the wanted to swim. They decided they would and they went off with Dylan went off to get changed.  In the meantime, Helena served Bette and Tina with another round of drinks.
