Angelica slowly came from behind the chair and before she could walk over to the glass, with just a few glances of her features, Kit dropped to her knees.

Kit: Oh my God. God no!

The deputy quickly turned the mic off then bend down to console Kit.

Deputy: Ms. Porter are you okay? Do you recognize her?

Kit: Yes.

Kit sobbed with her hands over her face.

Deputy: Who is she to you?

Kit looked up at the deputy.

Kit: My daughter.

Deputy: What??

Meanwhile, Bette and Tina sat in a small, cold lobby area waiting for Kit. Tina didn’t say much, her mind was focused on Angelica. Bette paced back and forth running her fingers through her hair. Every now and then she would glance over at Tina as she looked out into space towards the wall.

Bette: Shit. What’s taking so long, he said two minutes. What the hell is Kit not telling us? How do she know Angelica?

Tina: We don’t know if it’s our Angelica, Bette.

Tina said while still looking straight ahead at the wall. Bette paused from pacing and went to sit next to Tina.

Bette: Tina, baby, she’s not our daughter, you have to quit thinking that. It’s not healthy for you. Eventually, we going to have to put this behind us.

Tina: I can’t.

Bette: We have too.

Tina looked at Bette and frowned her face.

Tina: You would love that wouldn’t you?

Bette: What is that suppose to mean Tina?

Tina: You never believed me. You think I’m going nuts, I can tell by the way you look at me. You never cared for her.

Bette: How could you even open your mouth to say that Tina. I care just as much as you do but truth of a matter is, she isn’t our child and might never be. You suffered a miscarriage Tina, your emotions are already over the place and then this girl comes along, but it doesn’t change the fact that we lost our baby, and it hurts. We can’t just forget about that just because Angelica is here. We cant just take her home with us because you feel like she was meant to be our child. We are not in control of anything that is going on right now, don’t you see that.
