    ”Excuse me?” Bette questioned Tina rolled her eyes. ”Humor me please?..Take out your pocketbook” Tina prompted Bette shook her head scrunching her forehead in the process and reached into her purse taking out her pocketbook. ”Now open it” Tina instructed. Bette scoffed as she unzipped and unfolded it. ”Pull out a dollar bill” Tina instructed

    ”Excuse me?” Bette questioned

    Tina rolled her eyes.

    ”Humor me please?..Take out your pocketbook” Tina prompted

    Bette shook her head scrunching her forehead in the process and reached into her purse taking out her pocketbook.

    ”Now open it” Tina instructed.

    Bette scoffed as she unzipped and unfolded it.

    ”Pull out a dollar bill” Tina instructed

    Bette shook her head and reached in her pocketbook pulling out a dollar bill. Tina snatched it out of her hand and walked around to her desk pulling out a receipt book from her drawer.

    Bette watched in total bewilderment at Tina writing on the pad then tear the receipt off handing it to Bette. Bette read the receipt and laughed causing Tina to smile. She loved to hear Bette laugh. She never forgot what it sounded like.

    ”Tina? You can’t be serious?” Bette asked wiping her eyes from laughing so hard.

    ”Of course I am. You, Bette Porter, have just retained me, Tina Kennard, as your attorney for $1. And we didn’t have to go through the whole Trading Places movie thing of making a bet” Tina said seriously then paused ”No pun intended” She added

    Bette stopped laughing to look at Tina then started laughing again.

    ”Oh God. Ok. I didn’t know you attorney’s had such a sense of humor. I pictured you all serious and stern like” Bette said demonstrating a serious face for Tina

    Tina chuckled

    ”Well that’s because most of us tend to wear underwear too tight. Especially the men. Makes it extremely uncomfortable when we sit all day. Hence the reason for the serious and stern like faces. I choose to be able to breathe and not have material digging into my crotch and ass for hours on end. The less restriction the better” Tina responded then turned her head to give an apologetic look to Bette ”That was TMI..Sorry”

    Bette chuckled and shook her head hoping her dollar wasn’t just wasted.

    ”So Bette? Do you mind if I record our consultation. I want to hear your story and shorthand kicked my ass in school so if I could record our conversation I can make notes later” Tina asked    retrieving her tape recorder from her drawer and setting it on her desk
