    “Oh it was smooth – its just a shame our mother’s aren’t as good as us at engineering meetings. I told her that I was renewing my ticket “

    “We chatted about my mom and a few other things – it was really nice – she’s just delightful “

    “She’s a star “ Bette agreed “ So do you think that we can expect an increased effort to get us together”

    “I think it might take them a few days for them to get together – I know my mother is really busy and your mom says that they are getting together on Saturday for a shopping trip and then they are going to dinner.”
    Bette smiled “Do you think we should try pulling a trick on them on Saturday ?”

    “What you got planned for the weekend ?”

    “Well it was going to be an exciting weekend of paperwork, reading and avoiding the fact that I started to empty one of the rooms on the top floor to turn into a study “ Bette smiled “ I was thinking that I would like to spend time with you – maybe go to movies, cook for you – just hang out “
    Tina smiled “That would be really nice “

    Bette took Tina’s hand and squeezed it . She really wanted to find the words to tell Tina how the night before had simply blown her away – it had been a night that outstripped so many other nights with women she was dating. But she really was worried about scaring Tina off – she swallowed and looked at her lover. Tina held Bette’s hand and simply kept telling herself that this classically beautiful woman was her lover . Tina realised with a start that neither of them had spoken for several minutes

    2. 120 ch? Fantastic! Bring it on. We know you have it in you to write entertaining, brilliant, thought-out stories with many chapters to enjoy. I just say “The L Wing” with 328 chapters :-) Love it!

      This seems to be the week of multiple postings. I feel spoiled by you and all those other wonderful authors. Thanks for that!

      Now that Rosemary met Tina, she’ll be even more motivated to bring Bette and Tina together. I wonder what her new plan has to do with the library.
      It’s nice how comfortable Tina and Bette already are with each other. Meeting at Tina’s flat has potential for Emma dropping by unannounced.

      Looking forward for the next chapter.
