    “My mother is really pleased to have the two of you back in her life – how has she changed do you think?”

    “Well I don’t know how much time changes people – I think that they just become more extreme versions of what they were. “

    “And has my mother become more argumentative ?” Tina asked
    Rosemary laughed “ She liked her own way back at college “

    “Still does “ Tina remarked “Being the senior partner tends to mean that she gets her own way as well “

    “Emma was always going to be the girl who made it bigger than anyone else “

    “And did she – are you in touch with any one else ?”

    “One or two – there are a few partners but no one but Emma is a senior partner, a couple of others I know about through them and they have senior management roles “
    “Does she know that she’s the highest achiever ?”

    “Yes – we tease her about it “

    Tina smiled – she liked this woman and hoped desperately that she was making a good impression on the mother of the woman she had spent the night with. They chatted amicably for ten minutes until the young man appeared at their side with Tina’s new library card. Rosemary took her leave of Tina who wandered off to look over the “ just arrived “ section in search of a good book.

    Bette arrived ten minutes before the 12:30 meeting she was due to have with Tina. To her delight the blonde was already there sipping a cup of coffee and reading. Bette walked across and put the single red rose she had just bought on the open pages of the book.
    “Bette ! “

    “Hi “ Bette lent forward and kissed Tina on the lips before slipping in the seat facing her.
    “Oh Bette – its lovely “

    Bette smiled “Just a little way of saying that last night was very memorable “

    2. 120 ch? Fantastic! Bring it on. We know you have it in you to write entertaining, brilliant, thought-out stories with many chapters to enjoy. I just say “The L Wing” with 328 chapters :-) Love it!

      This seems to be the week of multiple postings. I feel spoiled by you and all those other wonderful authors. Thanks for that!

      Now that Rosemary met Tina, she’ll be even more motivated to bring Bette and Tina together. I wonder what her new plan has to do with the library.
      It’s nice how comfortable Tina and Bette already are with each other. Meeting at Tina’s flat has potential for Emma dropping by unannounced.

      Looking forward for the next chapter.
