“Wow.  Sounds like your family stays busy with such great rewarding careers.  And I thank Lance for his service” Tina answered sincerely

“Thank you.  He has been stationed in San Antonio the last two years”

“Oh well our tour schedule brings us to San Antonio so would you have time to check in with him?”

Bette shrugs “I’m not sure but I’d like to.  I haven’t seen him in over a year.  He calls often and we have video chatted but it would be nice to see him”

“Well let me know and I will make sure to leave time for you to do that ok?”

Bette smiles at her gratefully “Thats really nice of you.  Thank you”

Tina shakes her head “You don’t have to thank me.  I know being on the road pulls everyone away from their families and spouses etc. It’s nice to be able to do the opposite and bring you together with them when the chance arises”

Bette felt her heart flutter hearing how selfless Tina sounded.  She was definitely not a diva. At least not now.   Most artists who are thrusted into the spotlight usually end up forgetting their humility and become self centered and spoiled.  She hoped that Tina would never end up that way.

“So how old are you?”

“Jumping into the personal questions huh?” Bette joked and chuckled

Tina threw up her hands “Well I’m sure you already know how old I am”

“Yes. I mean you are pretty much plastered on every social media site and entertainment news so nothing about your bio is secret.  But actually I’m 23. Just a tad older than you”

“Well I turn 23 on this tour”

“December 15” Bette blurted out and immediately felt embarrassed the singers birthdate quickly rolled off her tongue

Tina gave her a playful shove “I guess you won’t have to ask me any questions then will you?” She says flattered that Bette remembered her birthday

Bette blushed “You think I’m a stalker now  don’t you”

Tina chuckled “No..I think it’s sweet” she said seriously as the two stared at each other for a moment until Tina broke eye contact and cleared her throat

“So next question. And this won’t be a short answer…Tell me about yourself”
