Tasha was sad and Bette noticed it; Dana and Alice had their story and the police officer realized the couple were solid as a rock; she didn’t want to feel as she does; but Alice was always very nice, beautiful, pregnant, and so needed of protection, but evidently she loves Dana; however Tasha can’t help it, she feels very attracted by the lovely journalist.

Bette: “Tasha…, Tasha; are you okay?”

Tasha: “huh…, yes, I’m fine…, where are we?”

Bette: “in New Haven, we’ll arrive at the institute in 5 minutes”

Bette parked the car close to the sperm bank, but as they were walking to the building, someone saw them.

Jodie: “Bette…, didn’t know you were going to come…, how are you doing?

Bette was taken off guard, she didn’t expect to find any of her friends in her way to the bank, she didn’t want anybody else to know about her marriage in a week, but she needs to give an explanation for her visit to the institute and for the presence of Tasha.

Bette: “hi Jodie”

Jodie: “you look surprised at seeing me, weren’t you going to drop by my office to tell me hi?”

Bette: “well…, yes, but later, after I pick up a sample for my research in Boston”

Jodie: “hmm, you could have called me up and I could have sent you the sample…, by the way…, you haven’t introduced me to your friend”

Bette: “oh…, I’m sorry, my bad; Tasha, this is Jodie Lerner, my boss…, Jodie, this is Tasha Williams, a friend”

Jodie: “a friend? Hmm…, nice to meet you Tasha…, Bette, do you know that someone took Kelly?”

Bette: “yes…, it’s very sad”

Jodie: “why don’t you come to my office; I want to tell you something”

Bette: “let me go for my sample, first”

Jodie: “I have to leave a document here; I’ll wait for you at the door, so, I’ll make sure you won’t go sneaking”

After Bette pick up her vial, she and Tasha met Jodie at the door, the officer told Bette if she would like privacy to talk to her friend, but Bette answered she would rather have her at her side; in that way, they could rid of Jodie easily.
