    Bette came into the room and ask if I wanted to leave the door opened or closed.  I told her to close it so that Burt and Ernie don’t visit us in the middle of the night. Bette laughed. Bette: I didn’t pack a robe. Tina: I’ll get you one tomorrow.  I should have hung

    Bette came into the room and ask if I wanted to leave the door opened or closed.  I told her to close it so that Burt and Ernie don’t visit us in the middle of the night. Bette laughed.

    Bette: I didn’t pack a robe.

    Tina: I’ll get you one tomorrow.  I should have hung one in your bathroom.

    Bette:  This is a lovely room, Tina. And you look lovely sitting in this big bed.

    Tina: Come join me.

    Bette got into the bed and then kissed me and pulled back and looked at me.

    Bette: Are you nervous?

    Tina: Yes, how did you know?

    Bette: You are biting your bottom lip. Now what are you nervous about?

    Tina: I’m nervous that I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m nervous that I will disappoint you. I’m nervous that I’ll do something silly or stupid and you will wonder why you are here.

    Bette put her finger on my lips to quiet me.

    Bette: I am very much aware that you have never been with a woman and this is all very new to you. And having no experience, you are going to do things which you may think awkward or embarrassing or kind of silly.  But that is what is in your mind. For me you are just exploring and investigating and finding what you like and want to know better. You need to take your time and do what feels right to you. If I find it unpleasant, I will let you know and direct you elsewhere. Okay? Whatever you do will be fine because there are no right or wrong rules to love making. There is just you and me and our expressions to each other as to what we want and like. You can’t do it wrong, because there is no such thing except to continue something when your partner asks you not to. Okay?

    Tina: Okay.

    Bette: Tell you what, let’s just kiss a few minutes then I am going to unbutton my top and let you just explore and do what you want. And I am going to wait until you tell me what you would like me to do to you. If you want more of something, just ask. If you want something else from me, just ask. Now I am going to warn you that my breasts are very sensitive so please be gentle but do whatever. Would you like to play with my boobies T?

      I love how they meet, their time at Camp David and the natural progression they took together.
      Try really are perfect for each other and your story certainly reflects that.

      I still can’t bear to think of them not being together!

        First of all this story is an alternative time and life for our Bette and Tina. The story is being told by a woman who is older (85 years old) and has experienced a full and joyful life with the woman she loved. They have had more than 40 years together even though they didn’t meet until they were middled aged. I like that they took the time to get to know one another for a few days before charging into a romantic relationship. I like that Bette insist that Tina think about her own life and if she is prepared for the changes which will occur as they start to see each other romantically. Bette wants Tina to make her decision about her life knowing the possible downside. For me, that shows immediately how much Bette respects and cares for Tina right out of starting gates. I also like that Bette insist they talk about things fully as they go. She seeks out Tina’s boundaries and comfort level before they do anything. This is why their relationship is so strong…. they hide nothing from each other.

        From the idea to publication, I took 4 days… I enjoyed writing this story because I could see that both Bette and Tina would go from a mundane life to a life of love and devotion within a matter of weeks. And it would result in a lifetime of happiness. Isn’t that what we all want in our lives?

      • OneStorm1 – Thank you for reading… I published this a little more than a year ago and I posted it this year on Achieve of Our Own. I do have three long book stories which is a single series and one other one shot which is about the same length as this one. I then not to writer about angst and problems between Bette and Tina. I think there are plenty of authors who present those kind of stories. All my published stories are on this website.
