As an actor this was his first nude scene and fortunately they were able to cover it with flesh colored paste but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for him or the make-up artist. It took forever to get the paste to adhere to his butt cheeks without running down his crack when he’d sweat. Since he was simulating the missionary sex position with the Jesse character it took several takes until finally they decided to shoot the scene with Niki on top. If he ever did a nude scene again the tattoo would have to be written into the script.
Niki had a good laugh at Tim’s expense and though her body was flawless for her nude scenes she did have her share of embarrassing moments while rehearsing for her first love scene with a woman. There were several lesbian actresses in the movie but ironically the characters they were playing didn’t necessarily have the same sexual orientation as the women did in real lives. Both Niki and the actress playing her lesbian lover Karina were both straight and had never experimented with lesbian sex. Beyond kissing and knowing what they liked during sex with their husbands they really didn’t have a clue how to pleasure another woman especially in front of a camera with several crew members looking on.
Niki recalled the first time Kate directed her to ‘fuck’ Karina. She’d actually said “oh you mean with my fingers?” at which Kate answered sarcastically “yes unless you have another apparati that we don’t know about.” Kate got so frustrated with the fumbling and naiveté of the two actresses that she was ready to fire them. She’d berated the actresses and Tina for their incompetence, but even she had to admit that they were right for the parts. Both were very beautiful women but more importantly the chemistry between them was palpable; they just had to harness that energy. That and the fact that they were both very talented actresses is what won them the roles in the first place.
Kate had suggested they watch lesbian porn learn how to fuck but instead Tina hired a refined Lesbian sex coach to teach them how to make love to each other and make it look real. Of course Kate didn’t pass up the opportunity to whisper a lewd remark to Tina insinuating that instead of spending the money on a coach maybe she and Tina could do the coaching by example so they can see how it’s done in real life instead of make-believe. Tina was disgusted with Kate but she held her tongue and instead focused on working with the actresses and the coach. They were all professional and they put their all into getting it right.
