“You can contact my lawyer Eric Peters if there are any further questions. He has full authority to work through any legalities on my behalf.”
“Actually, William you might want to be the one to make that call.” Tina tried not to show any reaction to hearing Eric’s name mentioned.
“What call?” William asked confused.
“The call to your lawyer. I know Mr. Peters intimately and this is just the type of litigation that he’d love to sink his teeth into.”
“Listen Tina, I’m really not in the mood to endure any further bickering between you and your colleagues. I’ve already agreed to release you of any personal liability, now you are talking about litigation. What more do you want?” William asked.
Tina could tell that he was getting exasperated as sweat broke out on his bald head. She decided to play her hand. “William, has either Aaron or Kate mentioned to you that the original negatives for your movie were allegedly stolen directly from the labs over the past couple of days? To my knowledge, we have no movie.”
“What are you talking about?” William demanded taking his seat and pouring a glass of water.
“Oh, then I guess the answer must be no.” Tina fiddled with her phone bringing up the wall paper image of Bette and Alex’s smiling faces. She breathed in their beauty and calmed herself before continuing in a condescending tone. “I say to my knowledge because obviously, I’m being kept in the dark, maybe you are too. Aaron… Kate … would you like to fill the rest of us in? Were the negatives recovered? Is this another plot to discredit me?”
Aaron didn’t say a word. He knew the shit was about to hit the fan, and he had to way of escaping the splatter.
“Kate what the fuck is going on here?” William turned to the one person in the room that he knew best and trusted implicitly.
“William, I have no idea what she’s talking about. I told you she’d turned on us.” Kate sat back in her chair and crossed her leg as she were an innocent bystander.
“OK William, since neither of your trusted cronies have the decency to be honest with you then let me give you my version of the story.” Tina stood up and walked around the room before she started speaking. “Yesterday morning I was informed … no let me rephrase that. Yesterday, Aaron Kornbluth my colleague and someone I shared mutual trust and respect with blatantly accused me of stealing the negatives for our entire movie including what was shot on location in Los Angeles and Vancouver. I was aghast to learn of the theft much less the fact that I was suspect, but there was evidence of faxes with my signature that gave the lab the authority to release the negatives to the messenger service.

To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry,curly,and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account.Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

I am distraught that the story has no finish!
Sharon, I realize it’s been a couple of years but this story hasn’t been laid to rest yet. I will be back with a conclusion. I just got distracted with another story called Daddy that was on my heart so I had to write it. Thank you for the poke. I will see where I am and revive it soon.

Please, please write a Conclusion for us even if you make it an Epilogue!

Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
