The Triangle of Love – Chapter 9
Shane: Dana is your best friend and Aidan is the one who saw you crash your car. He called the ambulance.
Alice: No… I didn’t… crash my… car. And… I don’t… have… a best friend.
Dana suddenly ran out of the room, Shane quickly following her, leaving Aidan in the room with Alice. He slowly made his way to the chair next to Alice’s hospital bed.
Aidan: How are you feeling?
Alice: Like… shit. Thank… you.
Aidan: It’s no problem. I hope you feel better soon.
Alice simply gave a small smile before slowly drifting off into a light nap. In the corridor, Shane was hot on Danas trails.
Shane: Dana! Dana! Wait up! DANA!
Dana finally stopped in the hallway, waiting for Shane to catch up. She turned around and saw Shane getting closer. They both had tears spilling from their eyes at what Alice had said. Dana spoke first.
Dana: She doesn’t remember me, Shane.
Dana was now sobbing, in Shanes arms, as she led them both to a nearby waiting room so they could sit down.
Shane: Don’t worry, Dane, she’ll remember you.
Dana: But what if she doesn’t? I love her Shane. I can’t stand the thought of losing her. I need her.
Shane: Dana, look at me.
Dana looked into Shane’s eyes, knowing that what Shane was about to say was true.
Shane: Alice loves you. You’re her best friend and the most important person in the world to her. Trust me; Al loves you more than anyone. When you told her how you feel, I truly believe she ran off because she’s never heard those words been said to her before. She doesn’t talk much about the time before she became friends with us, but she once told me that no one has ever loved her as more than a friend. No one has ever loved her like you do and it scares her that you said that to her. Now you need to control yourself and be there for her, whether she remembers you or not. Please, do this, for her? I need her too, just like the others do.
Dana: Okay. I love her with all my heart. Do you think we should tell the others?
Shane: No, not yet. She may not remember them either. Let’s wait and see how she goes and at least let Bette and Tina finish their honeymoon. As for her mother, that woman doesn’t deserve Alice. Come on, let’s go back to her.

I think Alice is blocking her mind because of her feelings, it is involuntary, but it is happening, poor Dana she doesn’t understand. Nice chapter, thanks again and I’ll be waiting for the update.
