    An hour later, a tall, dark haired doctor came into the waiting room and asked for Shane. Shane: Is Alice okay? Doctor: My name is Dr. Edwards and I’m going to be looking after Alice. I have good news and bad news. She is awake but extremely tired. The good news is she will survive.

    An hour later, a tall, dark haired doctor came into the waiting room and asked for Shane.

    Shane: Is Alice okay?

    Doctor: My name is Dr. Edwards and I’m going to be looking after Alice. I have good news and bad news. She is awake but extremely tired. The good news is she will survive. The bad news is she has broken all ribs on the left hand side, due to the car door crushing her. Her legs are in bad shape. She broke both legs in many places. She also needed stitches on each leg due to large gashes caused by the centre console. She required stitches on her forehead from the cuts and she cut the back of her head somehow. There’s also one more thing, but I don’t want you to worry, as this may just be due to shock. Alice doesn’t seem to remember anything about the accident… Or anything immediately before then. I think that’s all I need to tell you. You can see her if you want? But not for long as she does need to be examined further, especially on her legs.

    Shane: Take us there. Come on, Dane. Aidan, do you want to come too?

    Aidan: Yes please.

    Dr. Edwards led them to Alice’s room and allowed them inside. As they were only going in for a couple of minutes, he allowed all three visitors in, even though only two were supposed to be at one time. Shane, Dana and Aidan stepped into the room to see an extremely fragile Alice, barely able to keep her eyes open. When she saw Shane walk in, she forced a smile onto her face, but when she saw her other two visitors, her face turned to a look of confusion. As soon as Dana saw her, she began crying, as did Shane. Shane walked to Alice’s bedside, while Dana and Aidan stood in the doorway.

    Shane: Hey, Al. you gave us quite a scare.

    Alice: I’m… sorry.

    Shane: Don’t be. We love you and we don’t ever want to lose you. Dana is here too. And Aidan.

    Alice: Who’s… Aidan? And… Dana?

    Alice’s voice was merely a croak, but Dana heard every word. She understood why she would ask who Aidan was, but why her?

    1. I think Alice is blocking her mind because of her feelings, it is involuntary, but it is happening, poor Dana she doesn’t understand. Nice chapter, thanks again and I’ll be waiting for the update.
