    Before Dana could respond, they heard a male voice asking for a ‘Shane’. She got up and approached the man. Shane: Are you looking for me? Aidan: Are you Shane? I called you about Alice? Shane: Yeah that’s me. Look, thanks for calling me. But what are you doing here? Aidan: I wanted to see

    Before Dana could respond, they heard a male voice asking for a ‘Shane’. She got up and approached the man.

    Shane: Are you looking for me?

    Aidan: Are you Shane? I called you about Alice?

    Shane: Yeah that’s me. Look, thanks for calling me. But what are you doing here?

    Aidan: I wanted to see how she is and if she will be okay. It wasn’t a nice thing to witness.

    Shane: Okay fair enough. Do you want to come wait with us?

    Aidan: Yes please, if that’s no problem.

    Shane replied ‘Of course not’ as they made their way over to Dana, who sat there with a confused look on her face as to why this man would be looking for Shane.

    Shane: Dana, this is Aidan. Aidan this is Dana.

    Aidan: Yeah I know who she is. Hi Dana, it’s nice to meet you.

    He reached down to shake Dana’s hand. Dana took his hand wearily, still unsure why this man was here. She looked over to Shane, as if begging her to tell her who this man was. Shane suddenly realised that she hadn’t told Dana who he was as she picked up on Dana’s uneasiness.

    Shane: Dana, Aidan was the one who found Alice. He saw Alice crash her car and went to help her. He called the ambulance.

    Dana: Oh my god. Thank you so much.

    Aidan: It’s not a problem.

    Shane: Erm… Aidan? If you don’t mind, would you tell us what happened, how did she crash?

    Aidan: Well I was driving just in front of her. It was pretty obvious she was speeding, but when I looked through my rear view mirror, I noticed she was swerving all over the place. I think she may have been drunk. I drove through the junction just as the lights were changing, so I thought she would have stopped, but she never did. She drove straight off the road and ended up with her car wrapped around a tree. I didn’t hesitate to drive back and see if she was okay.

    Dana: Oh my god! She got drunk because of me, Shane. It’s my fault. She could die because of me.

    Shane: Dana it’s not your fault. Let’s just wait and see what the doctors say.

    1. I think Alice is blocking her mind because of her feelings, it is involuntary, but it is happening, poor Dana she doesn’t understand. Nice chapter, thanks again and I’ll be waiting for the update.
